Does not stick to your fingers like some

I have been sculpting for years with a variety of high fire clay. I found myself a bit too decrepit to hoist it all in and out of my kiln anymore. Simply had to give it up. Knowing nothing about Sculpey I say this online and on a whim, purchased it. I was amazed at the ease of use. Next thing I know, I'm re-purchasing clay tools, reading books and watching you-tube videos. What fun! Working with this clay is pretty cool. It accepts fine detail, it is easy to paint, it hardens like a rock after baking; it's sturdy and forgiving. It's also clean. I sit with it in my lap while watching TV and whittle away at it on a tray. Don't get me wrong, I haven't made any masterpieces, but I have made totally acceptable little heads and bodies. As a complete beginner with this clay I am totally pleased.

Easy to use and paint need I say more?

I bought this to make noses for yarn gnome ornaments. This worked perfectly for what I needed.

I hadn't used this medium before, so I expected a bisque type finish not normal polymer clay finish.

Received clay and look forever to get it worked. Clay was old and hard.

Takes a bit of working to get it ready, I did buy clay softner to help and it does, just a drop or two and it is easy to work with. I enjoy using this in my baby molds, still have some to learn. All told this is a good product. I would recommend this to anyone interested in sculpting dolls.
