When buying CoQ10, it is important to see what the base oil is. I originally bought some with MCT, which is coconut oil, as the base. My LDL cholesterol, which is the bad one, went through the roof. Some people have absolutely no problem with MCT oil. But if you tend to have high bad cholesterol, you should probably avoid anything with MCT oil. So, I made sure to buy this CoQ10 made with olive oil. I haven't been using it long enough to say what effect it has, but I think it's a good product.
