For the broadcast feeding do you need to turn off filtration? I cannot turn my filter off

It’s all about how much time you want to ensure it’s circulating in your main tank and not starting to get filtered. It works great in my reef tank and I haven’t turned off my filtration in 2 years. Maybe I should to have it increase time feeding but my corals look great!
