May not be right for high torque applications
I bought the sleeve and stepped key to adapt a 3/5" output Predator engine to a older shredder/chipper with a 1-inch bore. The sleeve and key both fit perfectly. Although I was a bit concerned that the key is shorter than the original. My concerns were perhaps confirmed when the smaller stepped portion of the key sheared off. To be fair the bolt on the output shaft of the motor broke, but I don't know if it was the key that failed first or the bolt. The motor is a 7 HP predator that is taking the place of a five-horsepower Briggs & Stratton. In case it was the bolt that failed, I am buying another sleeve and key.

It Fits
This is the ticket if you are using a Predator engine as a replacement. I had to shorten mine but the fit was spot on.

too loose to use
For my needs (adapting an older .75" bore pulley onto a newer .625" motor arbor) it was WAY too loose. It might be fine for emergency or short term use, but not for refurbishing a 1940's metal lathe. I ended up ordering one from Grainger that was adequate. Once the lathe is working, I'll just turn a new pulley and throw all the adapters away...
