Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania - Original Hindi Movie Blu-Ray / Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt

I really enjoy these movies! They are just as entertaining with the love story and the musical dancing, as the " Hollywood" movies! I laugh, and cry right along with the characters! I am always, looking for them to watch! I really enjoy the pairing of the 2 main stars! I hope they continue to make many more together! New fan of Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan!

This movie is entertaining Bollywood comedy. If you are having a bad day and are looking for a change in pace to sit back and enjoy a movie which is not filled with heavy dialogues then this movie is for you. Varun Dhawan as Rakesh Sharma aka Humpty and Alia Bhatt as Kavya Pratap Singh has played their roles well. The chemistry between the two stars may look childish at times, but it felt good.

This movie is thoroughly entertaining especially if you enjoy Bollywood comedy movies. Varun Dhawan as Rakesh Sharma aka Humpty and Alia Bhatt as Kavya Pratap Singh has played their roles nicely. Actually the chemistry between the two while little childish is rather good. There is a single Unplugged Version track "Mein Tenu Samjhawan Ki" is sung by actress Alia Bhatt is one of my favorites while that song is not present in the movie the "Samjhawan" is a romantic song Single by Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh is also a very good tune. If you like this movie you will also enjoy the sequel Badrinath Ki Dulhania which is also available for streaming on Amazon Prime. Rating the movie with four stars!

There's no way that 50% of the reviewers here gave the film 5 stars. It looks duplicitous! Bollywood the epitome of below average movies pans out another no-brainer potboiler. I wanted to give it 0 stars but it seems there is no such option! These nincompoop directors feel that Indian audience is trash and can probably lap up anything. Well I for one would never and I am going to be as vocal about my disapproval as I can!

A refreshing movie

Quirky love story!! Definitely not what I was expecting by the title name. A must see for laughs and fighting for love.

Since when did rudeness, arrogance, materialism, selfishness and generally obnoxious behavior (mixed in with a few, shallow, "this 5 second scene is to show how sincere/lovable the antagonists are" moments) become cool and romantic? Karan Johar, you are losing your touch.

Thoroughly entertaining. The song "Mein tehu samjhawan" is a gem and js on constant repeat on my playlist. If you want a fun movie that will make you laugh some and cry some, see this one.

First things first - Super fast delivery and brilliant customer service by Amazon (Helped me out with a listing issue). Coming to the product itself, as promised, it's bluray, so pure 1920*1080 goodness (Yayy). Also, all Hindi movie bluray discs are region free, so buy 'em without worrying much. However, there's always a but and considering this is a Hindi movie bluray, corners have been cut. The quality of cover art (Shame on you, Shemaroo) is terrible, so much so that I have seen better quality print and paper quality on pirated discs. Also, it's a single disc edition which is scant on extras - just the making and deleted scenes, wherein you totally get why the deleted scenes were deleted, nothing enjoyable. Also, the amount of free content on Dharma's Youtube channel is way more than this! So, if you love the movie, buy it. If you don't, then obviously don't. Also, could you people out there please throw out your age old DVD players and usher in the bluray era? It's already 6-7 years old and I barely see people familiar with bluray content; people who do know about it are usually wading neck deep in pirated bluray rips. It's time we supported the artists and bought original content!
