This weekend I had a formal sit down luncheon bridal shower for my daughter. A few hours before the shower began I was setting up the plates, I realized that each package was packaged incorrectly. I had 40 people coming and should have had exactly 40 plates, but I only had 35 plates. Each package that I opened was missing plates. It was too late to do anything about it so I had to place some of the small dessert plates that I bought out for the luncheon plates, which then meant I didn't have enough dessert plates for everyone. I was so embarrassed by these plates even though they looked beautiful. Make sure to count your plates when they arrive because you may be shortened plates. I paid for 40 plates and only received 35!

I received the 10" 25 Gold Heavy Plastic and noticed that the plates were well protected. I did not open it until today. I saw the picture and I like them. My Victorian Wedding is on June 10th! I could kick myself for not doing so. The plates are very thin and fragile. I would not dare use them for hot food and is exactly what will be served at my Wedding. The plates are only safe for cold food. I am very disappointed. I have no time to return them or to order other fancy plates. I now need to purchase plates in the supermarket. I am so upset. I ordered the small ones for the cake. They are thin too! I would advice not to purchase the large size for hot food!

I was pleasantly surprised with these plates. I do not, however, agree with the reviews that constantly claim that these plates are "almost like real plates." They are, in fact, quite thin, and obviously not real. But I wouldn't expect a plastic plate to look real. They do look beautiful on the table, and I am very pleased.

Looks nice. But the gold border is not solid. There are holes in it. So you can only put food on the white part. If you have sauces or juices on your plate it will spill through. Not entirely bad but I might have bought other plates had I known. (We served food with barbecue sauce ) hope this helps.

The plates were decoratively GORGEOUS!!! Very thin, but deceivingly beautiful!!!! Perfect for using and tossing without the worry of recollecting, especially since my husband and I hosted a destination wedding!!! NONE of our items arrived broken, plus they survived my re-packing AND a plane ride. Our settings included 3 of the sizes sold - 10.25in, 9in, and 7in.We certainly recommend this product!

Have these for my birthday party. The sides have actual holes, which I didn't realize before (like stencil). This way people can't really overpack the plate at the buffet, so I guess it works out good for me. I set them on the table on gold charger plates. Was just beautiful.

These plates were very fancy, but very flimsy & thin! Was expecting a little more but good overall, didn't want to throw away

Beautiful and elegant plates! Looks great on a gold charger plate! Can be used more than once if you can hand wash them! I have received lots of compliments!
