Why is it rusting if its supposed to stainless steel?
It's beautiful, everything works, absolutely no issues with performance; however the plug is not flushed so we can't push the stove all the way again the wall due to the plus sticking out, any suggestions?Although the stove is great; the customer service at Thor Kitchen is the worse I have ever experienced. I called to ask about a solution and she stated " it was my mistake for buying the stove". I called twice because she hung up on me twice. I have to either pay $750 to move my receptacle under the cabinet and drill a hole for the plug; Thanks Thor for not being smart enough to understand that an appliance that is made to be flushed against a wall should have a flushed plug; and you guys actually think you could compete with Viking or Subzero; keep dreaming. Viking/subzero/Bosch are companies who are all about the details; every appliance I own from them always comes with extras and everything they do is highly detailed; you may want to intern there; could learn something about building a usable appliance and intern at Amazon to learn how to treat customers who will continue to be loyal.

Best you can buy at this great price
I chose this range because it was the most affordable 36" model I could find. I checked consumer reports, all kinds of comparison websites, and even called Thor Kitchen customer support before purchasing. I love this range and so does my whole family. It looks so professional and works like a dream. When it was installed, two of the igniters did not work properly and they sent out a repairman immediately. The repairman told me that all of these professional style ranges are made the same so if I bought one and paid less than Viking and Thermador prices, I had done well. I feel like I did extremely well. My first baking project turned out perfect and the cook top is fantastic. This is a great value. Thanks to Amazon for listing it.

thought it was a great deal. It has over heated everytime I tried ...
Purchased this stove, thought it was a great deal. It has over heated everytime I tried to use it. I can set the oven on 100degs and a cake will bake and burn in 5mins..... the stove top ignition is messed up also. When you turn one burner on another will try to ignite. It’s doesnt but will click like it is trying to. Today I noticed my knobs were starting to melt from the oven over heating. No where in the handbook does it describe how to get to the thermostat to check if it’s set right or anything. The only good thing I can say so far is that it looks nice in my kitchen but clearly I can not use it to cook. One photo below show a knob not melted and the other a melted knob.

Could be a really great product
The issues with the stove top burners clicking (as if they are trying to light) long after they have lit is a real issue. It has been a constant problem since we purchased this product. At first it was a minor annoyance as it only happened when we used one specific burner (one of the low temp burners). Now it clicks (as if it is trying to light) on every burner the entire time the burner is on. It is maddening. Now we have burners that won't light at all. The oven does a great job and is true to the temperature it is set on; however, the knobs on the front of the stove are plastic that has been painted with chrome paint. Most of the chrome paint came off the knobs (due to heat from the oven) within the first few weeks of ownership. The oven ignitor stopped working and had to be replaced within 18 months. The low temp burners don't work very well. They are very prone to the flame going out if they are set to low (very dangerous imo).Update: I purchased a five-year maintenance insurance through amazon when i purchased the oven in 2018. I am VERY glad that I did. I called the insurance provider, in March 2022, to get the burner clicking to stop and fix the oven ignitor. I had no less than 8 service calls in an attempt to fix the burners and the oven ignitor (yep, lots of time taken off from work to meet the repairman). After 10 months the repair company finally gave up on getting parts from the manufacturer (THOR). Thor never sent the correct parts even though they used the exact part codes from the owner's manual and the Thor website. Bottom line, it is impossible to get parts to fix any internal parts that break on this oven. The silver lining is that the amazon maintenance insurance company finally gave up also and sent me an amazon gift card for the original purchase price of the stove.I strongly recommend getting the extended insurance plan when purchasing these kinds of items. Although I never receive anything to help file a claim later or remind me that I actually purchased the extended warranty, I was able to locate my purchase in my amazon purchase history and found a phone number on the internet to call in order to file a claim with the maintenance insurance plan company. After months of trying to fix this stove, the repair company (sent by the insurance plan company) finally gave up and declared that it was "not fixable" due to unavailability of parts after 10 months of repeated attempts to fix it.
