I installed 3 of these in the front cedar siding of my house for plugging planter lights into and a flag light for the third. They are solidly made products, nice tight rubber seal on the cover.The only thing I'd say could be improved is, if you buy the version with the option to get the rubber back cover, that the cover should have some way to "pop" onto the unit so it doesn't slip off. The unit has a tapered shape to it and once it's been inserted through ~3/4" of board, it's not quite such a snug fit of the rubber "boot". I ended up using some zip ties around the body and the neck to help hold it in place. This is important so the electrical contacts don't get wet or touch anything.

plug is of good material and easy to install. just hope the weather proof cap stays in place as traveling with my RV. rubber cap on back to cover the wires is a real plus for protection. would buy again.

Install was easy for this old electrcian. Put on each side of my van to be able to have my doors closed.

These feel solid. The hard rubber black back cover is thick and stiff, and the rest of the unit is weighty and solid. I can't speak for what's going on inside. I'll modify this review if I discover any issues after installing and using. So far I really like it.

I installed this next to my shore power cord on my travel trailer. I have my 2000watt inverter connected to it. When we are stopped for lunch or warming anything in the microwave I just plug in to it, turn off the converter and power up what we need.

I used these to add more AC outlets on my boat in the cockpit and on the bridge. This allows the use of less long, obtrusive power cords to provide energy to freezers and coolers.
