Excellent as a deterrent lock. Great for keeping two zipper tabs together on suitcase. Easy open when you know the combination. Good for interior home use, like lockbox, etc.

This seems to be a heavy duty lock. The only part that was tricky was setting the combination. The visual only international instruction sheet was worthless, but other viewers told exactly how to do it. I have used the lock several times now on flights. Works perfectly. Thanks!

I ordered these locks and 1 pair in one package locks.My first impression is that this is slightly larger than I've imagined. The size and weight may be greater than one usually expect for a traveler lock. The second concern is about the dial-operating system. Mechanical failure or forget about the digits may introduce a disaster at an unfamiliar location. The small ones only have a key and they are not dial-operated. I think both have advantages and disadvantages : key-operating lock may fail when you lose the key but you're free from memorizing the digits, while dial-operating lock may fail unless you forget the digits but you do not have to keep a key with you. Anyway, I would prefer the size and weight for the smaller locks over large ones. I feel they are significantly larger than I've expected.

I like how easy they are to use.

I know the information states that the above lock is to give easy access to whomever is in need of searching my suitcase. The big problem was that the lock was not put back in my suitcase. The description stated that the TSA or whoever searches the bags have a key to remove the lock avoiding cutting the lock off. So I’m out of a lock to which I really liked once I figured out how to use the locks combination. I couldn’t get the lock opened to begin to use it.

Purchased for my wife. Works great after programming. After some research determined that the four little pictures are telling you to:1. Pull open the lock2. Use a pen or other object to press and hold small button below numbers3. Set dial to your combination while holding button in4. Release button while numbers are set where you want them. Close and check to make sure it opens at your combination and stays locked every where else.
