Little Beaver
I bought the Gerber Principle, took it out of the box and put it to work carving a persimmon walking stick out of a piece of persimmon I dried for 15 years. The Principle was the main performer having tried 15 of my wood working knives, some of which cost hundreds of dollars. It’s the edge geometry that won the day. The Gerber literally worked six hours straight without blistering my hand or requiring a forearm tiring death grip. I got the stick carved down to a working size and the only thing I did to resharpen it was use a leather strop and it’s able to cut shavings thin enough to see through or take a big bite if you like. It’s a small blade perfect for fine work when a large knife is too difficult to manage. It’s very light and doesn’t weigh your belt down. The sheath is compact and excellent quality. It also accommodates multi position attachment. Whatever your outdoor philosophy is concerning edged tools, I think you’ll find this knife a worthy and reliable companion to go along with your other cutting tools helping you get those fine tasks done. Plus, you don’t need to refinance your boat to pay for it.

Compact but competent
Full tang and excellent grip. The steel holds an edge quite well and passes the paper test after much abuse. The knife is first rate but the plastic sheath is borderline junk. Seek options for carrying this knife safely, there's aftermarket products that are much better. Great knife and be sure to look at their next size up too.

Awesome Knife, okay sheath
As others have said, the knife is wonderful. Solid and sturdy, full tang, very comfortable handle, and razor sharp from the factory. The blade is thicker than I expected and very sturdy, this thing will handle serious use, but struggles with finer slicing if you want to use it for cooking at the campsite. The sheath is a cheap plastic affair with a little chinese velcro strap that clips to your belt, but doesn't actually have a belt loop. It works, but detracts from the overall setup, which is a shame because this is quickly becoming my favorite camping knife. Would be 6 stars with a better sheath.

Quality knife
I tried this knife out and I really like it for general camp/home use. I would say it’s pretty thick which can be a negative when using it to cut meat. One of my friends had a similar knife that worked better in that regard. When we compared them, his had a taller edge that gave it a thinner cutting angle. I plan to make that adjustment when I sharpen it.I’m not sure why the reviews are negative about the sheath, I personally really like it. It has good retention and several mounting options. I mounted it vertically and usually just clip in on my pant pocket. I have several knifes I’d use more if they had a better sheath but I think this one is great.

Versatility & durable.
This knife is perfect for Bushcraft like hobbies. Arrives out of the box sharp as a razor. Its craftsmenship will be recognized by all knife enthusiasts. Not only does the product fit well in the hand by the user, but slices & cuts amazingly efficient, with ease! I own two, as I carry one in my boot, and the other on my hip. Best little EDC.

Top quality knife
This is my new favorite knife. It feels really good in my hands and I have large hands. Its strong with an easy to sharpen edge and can hold up to pretty good abuse. I've battoned wood for my fire pit, great at feather Stix, used the tip to drill into wood, also pryed some wood with it and its done great. Great EDC knife for medium tasks and easy to handle.

Good Value for a Good Knife!
I bought this knife for work to carry around something smaller than a ka-bar, but bigger than a multi-tool. It is very comfortable in the hand, and I have larger hands, the slight angle on the end help with the small bit of pinky that hangs over. And while I see a lot of comments about the sheath, the one I got had no issue, unless I'm really pulling on it it's not going anywhere. My main complaints are, one, I wish it had a bit of a curve near the end of the handle closest to the blade, while I've yet to have it slip it makes me a bit weary (although again, I use this with wet hands and with winter coming the numbness you get with wet hands in cold 15 degree weather, the rubber grip makes it a good deal safer). Number 2, is the sheath. While I've seen reviews about how it falls out I've yet to see that or worry about it happening. However the way it's set up and me having bigger hands the thumb release is a bit of a pain to learn and get used to. The way the sheath sits doesn't leave too much room between the button and the case to let me press. Other than those two issues, I love it and would DEFINITELY reccomend!!

Great knife. Terrible Sheath
As many have said. GREAT knife... HORRIBLE SHEATH!! When a Mora sheath is 100x better. There is a problem. The main issue because of safety is RETENTION. It's almost non-existent as shipped. This is fixable with a little bit of heat. The retention comes from the sheath putting pressure on the first rivet tube. The problem is it does not do that. Using a heat gun, a lighter or a mini torch you can heat the front of the sheath or the tab is. Once the plastic is warm enough you can bend that tab down in a bit. Once cool reinsert the knife and it should snap in for good retention. The sheath is still nothing to gloat about however your knife will securely stay in.though the sheath is bad don't let this stop you from purchasing this knife. It's small enough for everyday carry yet big enough for everyday tasks. I would definitely not hesitate to purchase this strictly due to the sheath. The knife itself is worth the $60.
