I struggled for a year with the very short cable that came with the external drive after I rearranged my office. This 3+ foot cable works perfectly and fixes the short cord problem. It is quality.

Great cable for its value

Bought this to connect a hard drive to my TV and the original cable was not long enough. While watching a video on the second drive, I would periodically get a pop up asking me if I wanted to connect to the other drive. When I used a different smaller cable raised up on a box it worked fine. Tried using the cable on my computer and again, it would disconnect. The connection is too loose which is causing it to disconnect. Poorly made.
