VEC SH-50 USB Hinged Stetho Transcription Headset

Don't waste your money. I do transcription work from home on a daily basis. I was able to use this product for about two weeks at best. Then one of the ear protectors started coming off. I put it back on and at one point it actually got stuck inside my ear. I had to use a pair of tweezers to remove it. They are long gone in the trash.

I just received my headset and I am in heaven! Putting the headset on for the first time sort of caught me by surprise because I thought there would be a more snug fit into the ear; however, it isn't necessary. Being able to listen to dictation with this headset is wonderful and the volume control is a major plus! There's plenty of cord for ease of mobility around my work area, so I don't have to worry about the headset being snatched from my ears. As a bonus, the headset comes with an ear clip so I don't have to use the hinged set if I choose to listen in just one ear. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

I purchased this product due to my doing transcription from my home. I need something that provides good noise canceling so I am able to hear the speaker while I transcribe. These fit in my ears okay, but did not provide any noise canceling. Thus, I returned them.

Cap fell off the round wire connection point with the headset. I was able to place it back and reconnect it but it fell off again and now it won't work. I am returning the item and ordering a different headset. I have requested a refund from the seller. .
