Way better than the cheap aftermarket alternative that only lasted 4 weeks. Much better craftsmanship on this one. The only way to go if choosing aftermarket. After all, it is still German made.

It seemed impossible to screw the bracket to the lock cylinder & trim because they are not aligned correctly... I had to take the plastic sleeve out and use a washer instead - that was necessary to have enough wiggle room for the screw. Spent way more time than necessary to install this ... But I did save money compare to dealer part

I’d love to tell you of the great quality of this door carrier. I’d love to tell you how easy it was to install and how long it’s lasted. I’d love to tell you but I can’t. I can’t because they sent me what appears to be a Volkswagen rear engine mount. Not a door carrier. I’m not even sure how you could mistake these two things since one is enormous and the other is not.
