I was grateful for this level of customer service and added a star for that. I hope their products improve.Original Review: I have used this a few times now. It's a decent dry erase map. I like the tube a lot. But I wish the dry erase markers weren't so easy to rub off accidentally when moving pieces around the map. Also, the dry erase side of this has started peeling away from the thicker back and creating pockets/bubbles that have to be manually pressed out each time. Annoying but still usable.

I am a DM and am always looking for an adorable options for maps thay lay flat. This is dfmefinitekt better than a cheapie, and the carring cade is neat. However it still doesn't lu flat without something heavy on the corners keeping it down.1st world problems I know, but I purchased because of the claim that "it lies flat!"No I doesn't, and this saddened me deeply to my core.Still a good map and if you don't mind enforcing the corners worth the purchase.

This is much, much nicer than I was expecting.The mat is thick and well-made. It has a peel-off vinyl backing that looks sort of metallic-gray. I discovered that you can easily peel that backing off, and it leaves the mat sticky, like when you peel the backing off of a sticker. I think you could use that to adhere a felt or perhaps neoprene rubber backing if you didn't like the vinyl, and you might even be able to stick the mat to a wall or table, though I'm not sure it would hold without a little extra glue. The vinyl backing the mat comes with does add some nice thickness and a little non-slip property to the mat, so replacing it isn't necessary, but I thought I'd mention that it's easily doable, if you wanted to.The matt came with a quality set of dice. Black with white numbers.The picture shows a black, rectangular-looking thing, and I didn't know what it was. Upon receiving the mat, I discovered that it's a dry-erase eraser block. The dry-erase set isn't anything to write home about, but it does come with some little write-on, wipe-off cards and tiny plastic stands you could use to represent monsters or NPCs if you didn't happen to have an appropriate miniature.Best of all, the set came in this really, really nice carrying tube with a strap. The tube is sturdy plastic with a locking cap. Everything fits nicely in this case, with room to spare for extra (rolled up) papers, pencils, a dice back, or miniatures. And you can carry it over your shoulder like a quiver. Love it!It is really well-packaged. Definitely worth the money.

When I opened the package I was excited to see all the goodies that came with the map. Unfortunately the map itself doesn’t seem to be great quality. It’s covered in bubbles like the one in the picture. I went for a rolled up map to avoid the bumps from a folded map but these bubbles are much bigger than those bumps.

This mat has been amazing! Not only is it a great size and versatile for both wet and dry erase markers, but the grid lines are dashed making it much easier to read. I had borrowed someone else's mat before I bought this one, and theirs had solid bold lines on the grid which didn't make the black marker "pop" out too much, but this mat is much more visibly readable!It also comes with many colors of dry erase markers (you will need your own wet erase ones), but best of all my mat came with 10 blank cards/pawns that I can rewrite whatever I want onto them. I have my own 2D monster pawns from Paizo and Kobold Press, but sometimes it's great to have generic figures where you can write down your own names or numbers to keep track of things, or give to players if they don't have their own minis. It's much more practical than using random objects at the table, and it was such a pleasant surprise to see them included with the mat!And on top of all this, the mat and everything with it was at a very affordable price! It's just an amazing bundle!

I’m very disappointed in this purchase. The mat is made from quality material, but was assembled shoddily. My mat has 8, or 9 large wrinkles in the top layer. The carry case is nice, too bad they shipped it with such a disappointing product inside.ETA: I’ve had no luck reducing the stupid wrinkles in the mat. I will never buy anything from this seller after this worthless product.Update:The seller reached out to me after reading my review. I’m satisfied with their resolution to my issue with their product. They also say the are reviewing their quality control.

This mat thus far is great. I've used similar mats in the past and have had issues immediately with erasing and staining. The markers have great color and ink perfectly. The eraser takes all the ink off the map with one swipe. I even left marker on the map for a few days to see if it would leave anything behind: not a speck. This mat came well packaged, and even came with some great additions for any GM out there looking to get a starter set for grid-based encounters. The canister provided is light and sturdy enough to keep the map's integrity. There's also a nice plastic the map can fit inside, within the tube, to prevent tears and warping when placing or removing it.It's first true test will be an upcoming game later this week when my players interact with it.

Definetly got my moneys worth here. First off it's a basic grid mat with a compass icon and a tan tint giving it a cool old world look. Second, it comes with a cool black arrow quiver like carring case that has a strap for easy travel.Third, they also included dry erase markers, eraser, icon markers with stands that can be witten on. And a nice set of 7 gaming dice.As for the sturdiness it's ok quality it's like a thick vinyl material. I see no problems with it holding up. But I plan on mounting it to a chipboard anyways so not a big deal. If you're on the fence about this purchase just get it. You won't be disappointed. ;)

I do not recommend this product. Like you can see in the photo, there buble below the screen protector. Pencil and dice are really cheap. It could be so much better if it wasn't of the quality. Look for a chessex instead.

This was bought for my son.

As shown in the photo there are creases that cannot be removed. My attempt made the paper in the middle between the plastic crease as well. Otherwise, the markers were fine and worked well. Just not sure I will be able to use the entire footprint and keep minis standing in the creases
