The order arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. I have only found that the transcription of the Sloane 3189 manuscript has some errors (some avoidable), but, on the whole, shows good conformity, and accurate correspondence, as far as possible, with the original. It is a reliable collection of writings resulting from the spiritual work of John Dee and, for the most part, E. Kelley, which every serious researcher in this area of ​​study must possess, it does not exclude the obligatory consultation of the originals themselves. The outer cover, which has the letters engraved in gold, is of low resistance and shows rapid discolouration with handling. Congratulations to the author for the work undertaken.

This is a work divided into three volumes. It deals with the mystical system developed by John Dee. Enochian magic is a system that revolves around the calling of angelic beings through the use of a language known as Enochian. It contains material that was not available to the public. One of the distinguishing features of Enochian Magic is its emphasis on a highly structured and detailed system of angels. An interesting text in my opinion and suitable for everyone. Angelic conversations are recorded along with work material. I appreciated the cover and the binding of the texts. Arrived in a short time.

This is not a translation, nor was I expecting one. Rather it is a semi-facsimile rendition, hopefully, of all the Dee source material that remains of his angel workings. A lot of effort went into this and Kevin Klein ought to be respected for his effort. For the past few years all I had were mediocre and sub par PDF scans from which to work. Klein has given any one interested whether or not they are literate in Latin or Greek language and philology a very workable tool. His content is well organized and retains the flavor of the manuscript. Thankfully, unlike another editor we all know, he seems true to his source and lets it speak for itself. I suppose I could gripe about the sheer size, three volumes is quite enough; don't drop one on your foot. Paper is good and the binding (remember I'm working from the paper edition) holds the bulk every well. I would suggest supporting it on a table or dictionary stand. Price is good, received it a good week before the estimated delivery.

This is an interesting read. As one reads this material.. have a curious mind.

Absolute must have source text for those who are studying Enochian Magic and the world of John Dee. Lots of latin, but with persistence and a Latin to English dictionary, this is well worth the purchase!

I’m very satisfied with the book itself, but it seems that one corner was slightly damaged during delivery. I think it would be nice if you could take a bit more care with the packaging.

This set is absolutely awesome, it's as complete as it gets. I was on the ledge with the Latin, but I found the way around this is to use Google translate. It works, it makes sense. If you are into this kind of thing you don't want to wait till it's out of print. Get it!

Great buy This same Set is elsewhere for $120. Although delivery says much longer mine came in 10 days. Perfect condition, still in the original plastic wrap. Very pleased.

Severe Packaging Issue : The box set arrived bit damaged from two corners having damaged the book as well as it was only delivered in a paper envelope with nothing inside for the safety of such a rare and priceless masterpiece! Review : Now this is a priceless gem, 10 years in making. The book contains the exact facsimile of John Dee's manuscripts with all of his notations, drawings, annotations, bookmarks, underlines and symbols! (Images and Video Attached) The quality of boxset and the books within are top notch! As they're original manuscripts straight from the British Museum, a lot of it is in Latin and Hebrew which isn't a problem as we can just use Google Translate / Google Lens! Is it expensive!? It's actually priceless! Took 10 years in making, it's the author's soul in it for sure! Huge respect to Kevin Klein for remarkable efforts. (I literally have tears in eyes.) PS: It's quiet heavy, my mom couldn't lift the whole boxset!

Uma obra de arte, é quase um fac-símile, reproduzindo até mesmo as partes danificadas dos manuscritos originais. Pecou somente em não traduzir as partes em latim mas, pra quem conhece Dee, sabe que esse será o menor dos obstáculos.

A really good quality, comprehensive guide to Dr John Dee's work. The Sigillum Dei Aemeth and other sigils are drawn, explained and referenced clearly to his own manuscripts. It is very broad in range, with diary excerpts and maps showing his journey across Europe, adding extra interest and revealing both personality and circumstance.
