Dr. Huls - God's Mechanic: The Manipulative Practice of William J. Huls

Phenomenal little book about an obscure and gifted old timey osteopath who had roots going back AT Still and Charles Mayo. Phenomenal and inspiring!!!

Loved this book. My parents used to drive us (the family) out from California to Arizona just to see Dr. Huls and receive his wonderful treatments, but I was only a baby at the time. I actually felt inspired by his stories. Not that I'm going to go and do what he did, but I need to always remember that my body is a gift from God and that I need to do better to take care of it. I don't want to insult what he and many other great doctors over the years have done. I especially don't want to insult God. Dr. Huls did amazing work and he gave his credit to the Lord in being an instrument in helping people. Our bodies were designed to be healed. What he did was not radical, but a blessing. My siblings and I always heard many stories over the years of the amazing work he did. My dad and I were talking on the phone one night and were talking about him and I thought if he was so great, then let me see if there is something written about him. Here it is. If you or someone you know were a patient of his, then call the number on the back. They are wanting people to submit their personal stories so they can write another book. It's too bad there aren't more doctors like him today.

This was an easy read that anyone with an interest in tissue and muscle manipulation should read. Chiropractors, massage therapists, people in chronic pain would all get something out of this book. I had an interest because i have been to a myropractor and had excellent results and my wife happened to go to the mayo clinic for her schooling.

Dr. William Jackman Huls Saved my Mother's Life !!! My Mother was a congenital heart patient since birth. She was plagued with seeing a multitude of MD's and Cardiologists for mist of her life. At that time surgery was never a good option for her because of her condition and age. When we moved from Colorado to Arizona for her health purpose (altitude), and benefit. Doctors in Colorado gave my mother a life expectation on 5 years if she moved to a lower altitude. Doctor Huls treated my Mother for about 6 weeks, took her off all of her 9 prescription drugs except 1. She then gained strength, color, weight, energy, and overall improved health (80%) from her previous symptoms and lived a much more healthy & happy life for more than 18 years! Her Cardiologists were dumbfounded ¿? , but amazed !!! God Bless Dr. Huls!!!!!
