I think you should not mention 1/4” with this product! It’s metric M6, but is misleading in that in parentheses it says (1/4”). Instead the metric should be in parentheses, (M6, metric), then it would not be deceiving! I made them work by tapping them out to 1/4, but was not too happy. I’ll know to read the fine print next time!

However, although this product is of great quality it is a bit deceiving as it states in the description it is 5/16" when actually it is a metric 8mm thread. Not interchangeable at all.

Nice heavy duty ring, but one of them does not have any threads. Need them now so don’t have time to send them all back for 1 to be replaced.

this is a m8 metric thread. this is not compatible with a standard 5/16 thread bolt. seller need to delete the 5/16 as it is confusing and irrelevant .
