Wildlife of the World

I love this book. I always find myself researching animal facts, curiously looking for new information to learn about these beautiful creatures. The visuals in the book are also stunning. I love the photo captions as well.

My son loves these books. We have a bunch of smithsonian books. Pictures are very nice. Very good info about the animals. He goes through them alot when he wants to look up something particular about a animal.

My granddaughter is 6, a nature lover and a good reader for her age. She LOVES this book so much that she checked it out from the library over and over again—so I decided to buy it for her for Christmas so she could have her own. It’s a BIG book—thick heavy with a lot of pages like a coffee table book. If you have a nature lover, I highly recommend this book. It’s also a pretty good value for such a nice book. I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that my review helped you!

My only complaint would be its not long enough. Very informative, but the subject is just so vast. This book is divided by continents, and several unique areas of each continent are highlighted with examples of the wildlife. Now that its finished, this is the kind of book I'll be continuously flipping back into

I bought this book as a birthday gift for my wife, who loves animals. She is thrilled it and has been looking through it every day, reading about animals she never heard of, and learning facts about a wide range of mammals, amphibians and others. The photographs are beautiful and really show the animals in all of their majesty. The cats, in particular, look terrific. Many of the photos feature animals staring directly into the camera, which allows you to see into the soul of the creature. Because of my wife's enthusiasm, I've checked the book out myself and have thoroughly enjoyed learning about both the most common and the rarest creatures on the planet.
