HP Rail KIT - Rack rail kit - 1U - for ProLiant DL360p Gen8 (Renewed)

Not bent, Fit like a glove. Grease was nasty smelling, I De greased them. Then regressed with some thing that did not have a off smell. Not the seller fault. smelt like old cat pee. Get a can or two of break cleaner if this happens, Then take out side and De greases them. Just Fyi re greasing plan to get you hand dirty. May want to order the Orange clean stuff you get the grease off. After all this they glide nicer to.

Super easy to install in a rack, clip on the front and back rails in the rack, clip the inner rail to the server, slide the server in, it's that easy. Marked left/right/front/back for no nonsense installs After being installed, allows the server to easily slide in and out of a rack.

Every rail pair I ordered was damaged. We were able to bend the ears back in place suitable enough for installation and use but still defective. I gave a 2-star because we were able to make them work but still sub par.

Seems to work. A bit of cosmetic damage but it seems functionally fine.

DON'T BUY IF YOU HAVE A 3.5 INCH DRIVE BAY SERVER. I have the 3.5 inch drive bays on my HP DL360p G8. This will not work with it and nowhere in the product description does it say this. Also the ears at the end that mount it to the server rack were bent about 45 degrees.

So I ordered 3 sets HP gen 8 rails and they noticed I ordered gen 7 servers at the same time. They caught that, verified that I needed gen 7 and asked if I wanted the gen 7 rails instead. Great!!! (That's justification for the 2nd star). However, all 3 sets of rails that they sent had one rail that had the pegs and then other rail had none. So between all 3 sets I can only use half of the rails I ordered (but really only useful for 1 server)... Frustrated.

The tabs on the rack ear arrived sheared off. I’ve tried getting a replacement 3 times now, but each time the replacement is cancelled.
