3M 1080 BR230 Brushed Titanium 5ft x 3ft (15 Sq/ft) Car Wrap Vinyl Film

The brushed metal looks great and very realistic. However, this material is a little more difficult to work with compared to the smooth 1080 vinyl wrap. It tends to rip somewhat easily and unexpectedly along the grain. You really only want to squeegee with the grain, not across it. Going across the grain with any significant amount of pressure will scuff the material and it doesn't come back to normal even with the heat gun. This material also tends to "splinter" and look a little rough along cut lines. If you can hide the the cuts inside a seam in the panel you're wrapping, there is no problem. But, sometimes there isn't enough of a gap and you nee to have a visible cut line. In these cases you can sometimes see the rough edge if you look closely. I has this situation on my dashboard trim. I was able to hide the edge to anything but very close inspection by running a thin line along the edge with a black sharpie. Anyway, application of this material takes more time and care, but it look very good.
