This is a difficult puzzle but a fun challenge and so pretty.

Great quality.
I have been a fan of Heye puzzles for years, this one does not disappoint. Very well cut, thick pieces for durability and beautiful colors. It was a challenging puzzle, especially the bubble filled sky area.

Very Pretty.
Though it is only 1000 piece, the intricate 5 star illustration adds to the difficulty. Had the pieces interlocked as well as most Ravensberger puzzles, this would deserve 5 stars for quality. But some pieces fit where they should not, and the only way to tell that they do not belong is either closely examine to see if the illustration matches the piece next to it, or turn the pieces over while interlocked to determine if they really do line up. (The plain cardboard on the back of the pieces make it easier to see what are only slight differences or separations. Some fit so perfect with the wrong piece, you couldn't tell they didn't match up until after the puzzle was near completed, and suddenly pieces that should fit do not. Especially frustrating in the multiple edge pieces of dark blue sky that fit in more than one place, both in the left and the right sides, allowing me to complete the edging, never knowing it was wrong until the most of the inside was completed. In frustration, I simply removed the edge pieces, completed the puzzle, then redid the edge. I suppose it's possible the company does this on purpose, but don't think so. (Ravensburger "mystery" puzzles have done this, but on purpose, every other piece of the edge completely the same, adding to the challenge of a much smaller puzzle.) The other issue is that the pieces don't stay locked, and if you brush up against it with your sleeve, you may end up knocking a completed portion of the puzzle off the table. Not fun when you have a dog that likes to eat puzzle pieces. But, those complaints aside, I would buy it again. It is a gorgeous puzzle.
