Kotobukiya Ghost in the Shell STAND ALONE COMPLEX Tachikoma With Motoko Kusanagi & Batou 1/35 (Plastic Model kit)

As much as I adore the character, the *perfect* design of these pieces made the process of construction so much more enjoyable than just having a Tachikoma model. Things don't forcibly snap together. They just perfectly fit. I wish there were more Kotobukiya models that I wanted. Or ... maybe I could just put these together for other people with poor eyesight.There are some human figures that come with it -- they aren't painted and they don't snap together. I decided I didn't care about them and didn't bother with them. I'm here for Tachikoma anyway.

I was impressed with how well the pieces fit together; for a press-fit model the seams are relatively clean and narrow and the connections are secure. With just a few dabs of black ink from a fine tip brush-pen, the model really comes to life. It was fun and easy but not boring to assemble, looks good when finished, and represents a good value for the money.

This was a fun kit to build and I love the details. There are a few things I wish were functional, like the "oil port", rather than being a separate part. Same for the gun option. It does include both the cannon and chaingun options so it kind of makes sense for them to be separate. The wheels on the feet are a little low on the relief side and needed some cleaning up. It would have been nice if these came with the alternate 3 toed version. The same for the "eyes" they are really shallow makes painting them a little tougher. I ended up re-drilling them a little deeper to better hold paint. The kit included a small clear base for the user cabin that is a nice touch and lets the model balance a little better if you don't that to use one the "Gundam style" peg bases. The one drawback to using this one is the part that connects to the model replaces a piece that is white in the regular kit with a clear one. It is on the bottom of the model but can be seen in certain poses. I recommend painting this or just using a different base. The detail inside the user cabin is wonderful with screens and controls on all sides. They have nice deep lines that take color well. The kit includes only 1 set of hands, one open and 1 closed. It would be nice to have 2 of each style. This would make sense given you get 3 options for oil and even a shell for the cannon.The people require glue to stay together. For this, I used plastic cement instead of CA because of its durability. I suspect it just a matter of the mold for them showing its age. There was a lot of flash on mine that will need to be clean up. Also, the flesh peach flesh colored plastic they use feels softer than the rest of the model. This softness is noted in some of the facial details. They just aren't as crisp as I would like.It is a great model that I will be building a few of. I hope they release a larger version at some point. I would be great to see a 1/24 or better a 1/12 scale version. Then they could incorporate the working oil port and the option for the wheel/3 toed feet.

This is a model kit, obviously, so you'll have to put it together. But why not? I had a lot of fun with this. I bet you will too. And.......it's a Tachikoma!! What are you waiting for?? :-/

This figure is awesome, a true to the show replica that I enjoyed building.

A little small once built, but extremely cute and entertaining to do so. Was given as a gift and the recipient loved it so much they built it right away.

The instructions are in japanese. The kit pieces are too small for my taste...I broke a couple of essential pieces, while assembling them.

I agree with the other reviews for the Tachikoma, but disagree about the figures The figures that came with my kit didn't snap, rather needed to be glued. and required additional shaping. The mold lines were very obvious and there was a lot flash to cut away. While the main kit is about skill level two the figures are in the 3 to 4 out of 5 range

去年、買わせていただきました。組み立て時間は、4時間ほどでした。このタチコマは、写真で見るよりかなり小さいです。figmaの少佐と高さを比べてみると、少佐の腰くらいまでの大きさです。しかし、そんなことを感じさせない足や腕などの可動範囲！かなり動きます！さらに、タチコマの後ろについているBOXなのですが、中がとてつもなく精巧に出来てます！これには脱帽です。塗装については、僕はライトだけメタリックのレッドで塗装させていただきました。ただし、難点が2つあります。まず、組み立て中にキットが少しベタつくことと、付属の天然オイルなどが凄く小さいことです。特に後者。皆さん気をつけてください！驚くほど小さいので。最後に、やっぱりタチコマはかわいいです！机の上に飾っています。疲れた時に見ると癒やされます！壽屋さん、かわいいタチコマをありがとう！

プラモで初のSAC版タチコマですねタチコマといえば2ndよりこっちの印象が強いのですごく楽しみでしたこいつはすごいです！操縦席再現しかも差し替えなしです。ヒンジで開きます。なのに1/35！アニメそのままな感じでスタイルもいいです脚の独特な曲線とデフォルメっぽい頭部の大きさがいい感じでかわいいのですしかも手の平に乗るのですかわいいのですリボルテックが小顔イケメン風だったのでちょっと反動がきてますね色分けもコトブキヤらしく再現されてます。足りないのは操縦席内部とライトくらいでしょうか？ライトは1.0mmと1.5mm経なので一緒にHアイズ3も買うといいかもしれませんグレー部を変にメタリックにしてないのでパチでも見栄え良いです結構目立つので脚に合わせ目は残念ですがここは形的に仕方なさそうですタイヤ部は後ハメ意識のパーツになっているので塗装は楽かと可動は全体的にボールジョイントです。グリグリ動いて十分にポーズとれます保持力もかなりあります。操縦席のハッチ類はプラで動かすので後々緩くなりそうですがバリエもありそうなのにフィギュアも三体ですね。ガトリングやオイルなんかの小物もついていて好印象そこまでつけるなら赤いスパナと成田山デカール、あとジェームズ社長も・・・と欲に飲まれてしまいそう手軽に組める良キットなのでおすすめです。PCの横にちょこんとあると癒やされますよ

タチコマ…いいですね

プラモ初心者です。プラモを無性に組み立てたくなり、以前から気になっていた本製品を手に取りました。比較的パーツ数も少なく、初心者でも扱いやすそうな点も購入理由の一つです。組み立てに当たりとりわけ難しいところはなく、不慣れでも５～６時間あれば十分に完成させることができます。手を加えなくても十分鑑賞にたえますが、墨入れやサーフェイサーなどでアレンジを施せばグンと見栄えがよくなると思います。とりわけタチコマ本体に格納できる付属のミニフィギュアは彩色が施されていないので簡単にコピックなどを使って塗りを行えば、特に原作を知っている方は楽しめると思います。
