BarberPub Heavy Duty Barber Chair, All Purpose Hydraulic Reclining Salon Chair for Hairstylist, Barbershop, 2008

I wasn’t sure with purchasing this chair because people reviewed it wasn’t a sturdy chair. It is a solid beast. Great quality and the look is exactly what I was going for. If you have a lot of bigger clients that come in, this chair is wide and roomy for them to be comfortable. Hydraulic lift is a lift pump not a pedal pump so you lift it with your foot instead of pushing down to pump. Definitely helps to have two people install. Very satisfied for my busy days as a barber.

Overall this is a pretty good chair we have only been using it for 2weeks. There is some kind of clicking noise when cliente is elevated. On that note I wish that the chair pumped up a little higher. Other than that I have no issues.

Let's start with the fact that they did NOT send this chair with instructions on how to assemble. To save money on shipping I'm assuming, they chose not to connect the upper armature for the footstool to the the seat of the chair during production even though that is the most important assembly and nearly impossible to access and line up the bolts with the shell of the chair in place. Myself and 2 men worked on trying to line up and connect those 2 bolts properly. After 3 hours of trying the soft malleable bolt (concerning since this chair is supposed to have a 400lb capacity!) Stripped as did the recieving end. The contortioning during this through my back out for 3 days. I then had a client look at it and offered to re-thread everything and fix it. 3 hours later and 2 new bolts later and he got it working Finally! He had to fully disassemble the shell of the seat to even get proper access to complete the assembly.This assembly would have been so simple if the manufacturer had attached the upper portion of the footstool before shipping it. Just greed and laziness! Previous chair manufacturers did that portion and it was a great experience in comparison.

Strong chairs for barbering and great value for the price..

Not the greatest quality by far. Let’s see what happens. Made in china and you can tell. The metal/chrome has pitting in it from factory and a haze that you can’t clean. Seems cheaply made. If your doing 2-6 haircuts a day you may be ok. I don’t think it’s made for a busy barber. Good luck.

It was kind of difficult doing it solo but overall great chair. looking forward to using it for years!

Overall I was very happy with the quality of the chair. The instructions could be more detailed but I was able to figure it out. The vendor will take calls if you need further instructions.
