Worked for what I needed
I used this in the hospital during recent surgery. I attached it to my bed for my phone and kindle so It was always handy but secure while I was sleeping. My only issue is the numbers are hard to read, very hard. Have to tilt it every which way till you get the light just right so you can see the numbers. I think I might use some white paint to repaint the numbers which would solve the problem. I can see lots of other uses for this.

worked perfectly for at the pool in vegas
I just wanted something to put my phone, etc in while we were in the pool in Vegas. I know that if a thief really wants something they're going to get it so i'm not sure how it would hold up to a knife or scissors. But if it at least deters them enough to think twice... or enough to slow them down til we get back to the pool chair, good enough. We attached it to the chair.

perfect deterrent at the beach. Just looped the cable around our beach chair. Now I guess someone could steal your chair, but i think you would see that more obviously. perfect for phone, keys, hotel cards and cash. I have actually bought multiple for gifts after using mine.

Works great
Love this bag for beach days when I leave my stuff unattended under my big umbrella. I put my phone and wallet and cash and keys in it and lock it before I hit the water. It's attached to a huge umbrella and there's no way anyone is going to walk away with that unnoticed. With considerable effort or cable cutters it could be breached but most would be thieves will move on to easier pickings. It's enough of a deterrent that I feel comfortable taking my time in the water knowing my things will be there when i return.
