1000 Piece Large Jigsaw Puzzle - Ghent, Belgium - Puzzles for Adults and Teens - 29x20 Inches

First off, the box comes shrink wrapped which is a plus. You can tell right away that it’s good quality!The box was incredible. Is that odd to say that I really enjoyed the box? But honestly, it is high quality and very sturdy. When I set the top up to see the picture, the box top doesn’t fall over and that’s important to me. On the box sides you have the puzzle information and information about Ghent, Belgium which is the location of this image. The top is simple with just the company name and image of the puzzle. The pieces come in a resealable bag.The actual pieces are your standard piece shapes. The image is high gloss and very saturated. The pieces themselves are sturdy and lock well.I always like a high saturated puzzle, and this one was definitely colorful with deep blues and bright oranges. There were lots of different sections of texture to keep the puzzle interesting. The sky had a nice gradient to it so I didn’t feel like I had large areas of the same blue to put in like many sky puzzles do.Overall this puzzle took me roughly 4 hours. I would say it is medium difficulty. It was a fun challenge and I never felt stuck. I was always moving forward.I had a lot of fun putting together this puzzle. It was highly enjoyable and I would recommend it to those who like the things I put in my review. I will definitely be hanging on to this puzzle. Sometimes I donate puzzles when I complete them, but not this one. I will do it again!

The only image provided for the puzzle is the box cover and it isn't an accurate rendition of the actual puzzle. Two buildings on the far left are omitted from the cover, the foreground is shortened and the building on the right is shown fully while the puzzle contains only half. I believe the company could do a better job of providing an accurate image to solve the puzzle with. Or maybe they just don't care!

We visited Ghent last summer and stayed in 1898 Post Hotel which is the building in the center of this puzzle. At night we would walk along the camel and over the bridge to the vantage point where the image was captured from. Bought the puzzle to bro g back memories from an amazing city.The puzzle is well made. And very sturdy. I gave it five stars for the ability to assemble. It is from the perspective of the quality of the puzzle pieces. BUT...IMHO it is a difficult puzzle due to the subtle coloring and other elements. One reviewer said they completed it in 4 hours. I call BS on this. Either she/he is a pro puzzler and had multiple helping hands or i am the WORST puzzler EVER. I choose to believe it’s the former not that latter.Either way....this puzzle is definitely worth the price and will provide you with hours of COVID distractionUpdate...finished the puzzle...but it was missing three pieces so I’m returning it. Argh

Before I even start this puzzle, I want to comment on the box and piece quality.The box is super sturdy and a great size. Pieces are nice and thick and feel like great quality.Will update once I’ve completed the puzzle.Update- I’ve now completed the puzzle and was very happy with the quality. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include a a poster of the puzzle image. The image on the box varied slightly from the image on the box. The colors in the puzzle were much more vivid and brighter than the box suggests.

I wish I had known all of the pieces looked exactly the same before I bought this. It’s definitely cardboard, but trying to put it together is incredibly frustrating because every piece looked the same shape and made it joyless to put together. I ended up giving it and packing it away because I lost interest so quickly. It was also missing a few key edge pieces. Would not recommend, might regift it to someone I mildly dislike.

I have sucked my wife into jigsaw puzzles to wean her off of electronics. So in the evenings we play with puzzles in peace and quiet. We choose landscapes and we had a great time putting this together. The quality of the pieces was good, fit was good, no missing pieces. The building reflection in the canal was hard to figure out, but part of the journey. We liked it.

The pieces are thick with a bright, highly focused picture. The box is the first thing that you notice. It has thick sides that are securely connected. The picture on the box exactly matches the actual puzzle. There were no missing pieces even though my cat gave it her best effort to make off with a few. I will be looking for more JS brand puzzles.

Loving this puzzle. The coloring similarities offer a challenge, but the small details make it clear enough which piece belong where. It’s a beautiful image. The pieces are sturdy and clearly fit together (no mistakenly putting some pieces together). It’s a great easy to mid skill puzzle. Looking forward to doing this puzzle many times. 10/10 would recommend.
