Nice Stand, A Little Wobbly
Bought for my Tenor and Alto Saxes. I found there's too much play in the lower flip-up joint. Therefore the Alto tends to fall backward. The Tenor works fine as it has enough weight hanging forward, if it's going to be on the stand for a while, I usually swivel the neck around to put extra weight to the front. Not a bad stand, wish the joints didn't have so much play in them when the stand is all deployed.

Great sax stand!
After reading reviews of not being stable after I ordered it, I was a little skeptical. However, it was a little unstable but if you carefully tighten up some of the nuts, the stand works great! I gig several times a month so I am always looking to upgrade my equipment. My alto and tenor both sit quite nicely without any adjustments. I will definitely be getting another for my tenor.

Not so much for a tenor
Initially it looks good. I wanted a stand for my tenor sax. This is probably designed more for an alto though. The horseshoe that the bell is supposed to fit into is very tight for a tenor. Also, the rubber latch device that is supposed to secure the bell keeps popping out. The plug that the strap connects to pops out of the ends of the horseshoe. Also, the bottom, adjustable holder just isnt right. The whole arm from top to bottom needs to be longer. It is a nice design idea, but for an alto.

Great Stand, BUY IT!!!!
I purchased one of these stands previously from Music & Arts and paid $50 for it. My husband loved it and now that he has 2 saxophones, he has been needing another one but didn't want to pay $50 for it. I found this one on Amazon and was not sure if I wanted to get it since it was so cheap BUT I'M SO GLAD I DID! It is the same stand, but a new model, and just a sturdy and great, for a fraction of the price. YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS PRICE FOR THE QUALITY!

Good budget stand
The stand is well-made and seems very durable. It packs down to a good convenient size. My only problem is that the weight of the tenor seems to pull the stand back instead of leaning forward. My alto sits forward over the front leg and is very stable. My tenor is heavier and pulls the stand arm back. This pulls the horn more upright where the weight isn’t over the front leg, and makes it feel less stable. I haven’t had any problems where the stand fell over yet, but it’s just not as stable with a tenor.

Terrible product, obviously cheaply built with little thought around the design.
I bought this for my tenor saxophone which per the description it should be able to hold. However the build quality is terrible and the bell didn't even fit into the top hook. Secondly the pad on the bottom to support the saxophone does not stay in the correct position but with any pressure at all will tilt up causing the saxophone to come in contact with the metal. While the collapsing feet and top seem nice for moving it around, the tolerances are far to hight on movement and so the stand does not feel stable with the instrument mounted to it. I would not recommend this for anyone who cares about their instrument. Function just isn't there for someone who does not want their instrument damaged.

Doesn't seem sturdy enough.

Despite being described as being good for a tenor sax there was no way that it would work for a sax that size. I found it to be shoddy construction. In addition it cost me $26. to return it - more than 1/3 of the original price. Definitely not recommended.

The item was not in the same condition as shown in picture. The leg was broken or bent. Also refund is taking ages. It was returned on 10th August and still refund is not processed.
