Good buffer
These work great to buff the skin. It’s soft enough to not damage the skin but abrasive enough to remove impurities and bumps.

Great item at affordable price point
These work great and are affordable enough to replace as often as you like! They’re side enough to use on your face and still tough enough to use on other areas as well.

A Loyal User of This Locally Hard-to-Find Product!
These Compac body scrubs used to be readily found in the Personal Care/Health & Beauty Department of Walmart where they were displayed ONLY on brand merchandising strips. Merchandising strips are routinely found hanging vertically from the edges of store shelving so that products, hung from plastic tabs attached to the strips, catch the attention of shoppers as they walk down the aisle. Upon my asking a Walmart Associate why these body scrubs no longer seemed to be available, I was informed that Walmart's merchandising strips are actually handled by an outside vendor and, therefore, some products displayed on them can be hit-or-miss in terms of their regular availability. Interesting to know. Needless to say, I was shocked when I then happened to stumble across these Compac body scrubs hanging from a merchandising strip at Giant Food, a large regional grocery store chain in my area. Jackpot! That was the first time in years that I had seen this product displayed in any retail store! Just one problem... they cost about 33% more at Giant Food than the per unit price (i.e., price for each one) when purchased as a pack of six here on Amazon. BODY SCRUB VS. FACIAL SCRUB: I use these body scrubs to periodically cleanse and exfoliate my face in the shower, and much prefer the large size of this body scrub compared to the smaller Compac Facial Scrub . Other than their size and shape, the body scrub and facial scrub are completely identical and essentially cost the same. In my opinion, however, the body scrub's larger size provides better ease of handling and also a bit more versatility than the smaller facial scrub. COMPARED TO BUF-PUF: On occasion, I have used the Buf-Puf Reusable Facial Sponge (Pack of 6) because they are more readily available in most retail stores. However, those facial sponges are usually much more expensive than these Compac body scrubs and I personally feel as though their texture is too gentle to provide the deep exfoliation that I desire. I suspect that loyal fans of those Buf-Puf sponges have probably tried no other sponge, fear that anything coarser might irritate their sensitive skin, and/or prefer the Buf-Puf's gentler texture when simply cleansing away their makeup, dirt, and excess oil. If you ask me, I think the greater thickness and slightly coarser texture of these Compac body scrubs helps them do a better job. Despite having sensitive skin myself, I have never experienced any issues such as scratching or redness resulting from these Compac body scrubs. PRODUCT CARE: To increase useful life of these scrubs, it is VERY important that you follow the product’s directions to shake water from the scrubs rather than wringing them dry. From firsthand experience, I can tell you that that wringing these scrubs will both compress and weaken the synthetic material making the scrub less effective over time. Here's a tip... even after becoming too compressed over time, I still keep these "worn out" sponges on-hand to help remove the likes of paint, tree sap and grease from my body after working around the home. They do a great job of that when I'm in the shower. DURABILITY: Another reviewer on here commented that her husband doesn't think that these body scrubs last quite as long as they once did... and I have to say that I agree with that statement. In terms of their durability, however, it’s important to remember that this will vary by user, depending on how often and "hard" they use their scrubs. My suspicion is that, somewhere along the line, Compac probably decided to alter this scrub's synthetic material to reduce manufacturing cost and/or soften the texture to appease consumer's who complained about it being a bit too coarse; this would likely change the product's structure and overall durability. Such is life. They’re still decent scrubs for the money. Thank you Amazon for providing these body scrubs at such a reasonable cost to us loyal consumers who have found it increasingly difficult to source them locally from the big box stores or elsewhere!

Decent product for very gentle exfoliation, doesn't make too much foam and doesn't last long
The Hart Felt body scrub (not Compac as the name states) is a decent product for very gentle exfoliation. I expected it too be a little more abrasive, but the scrub is quite soft; it's more like a wash cloth then a scrub. To get a good exfoliation I really need to rub my body, but since it's gentle it doesn't hurt my skin. It's somewhat more hygienic than wash cloths, but it's also quite small so exfoliating the whole body takes a lot of time. I have some dry patches and flakiness on my elbows and knees, but using harsher exfoliating products (like ponce stone, which is great for feet) is sometimes too much. The Hart felt body scrub didn't helped with removing the flakiness with just one use, but used regularly it provided a decent exfoliation. With the first uses the body wash didn't foamed when used with this body scrub; after a couple of uses I managed to get some foam, but the body wash definitely lathers less with this scrub then used on it's own. But I assume it's expected, as this is not a sponge. The material starts loosing structural integrity from the first use, becoming even more soft. It doesn't last long and it's not a dense body scrub. After 3-4 uses it just started falling apart (splitting in half) and pilling; in the pictures you can see the scrub new and after ~2 weeks of daily usage. It's an OK product, I can't say I didn't like it. I'll just use it, but won't repurchased it again.

Great Exfoliators!!! Five Stars!
I have been using these exfoliators for years! They work great!! Make my skin nice and smooth. Just be sure to rinse it thoroughly and hang it up to dry away from your shower to prevent them from getting moldy or smelly.

Es un buen producto, pero posiblemente no le di el cuidado necesario: la esponja se hizo muy delgadita y perdió firmeza al poco tiempo de uso.

Nice, I love it! This sponge is perfect for scrubbing while showering. I used to buy it at boots, but I couldn't find it anymore! I've tried different ones, but this is the only one which works with me!

Great job exfoliating, but does not last. Sponge deteriorated after 2 uses. Hard to justify the cost.
