Scarry 10 book set

Really great value - set included: planes and rockets and things that fly; cars trucks and things that go; busiest people ever; funniest storybook ever; great big schoolhouse; best counting book ever; what do people do all day; best word book ever; best first book ever; great big mystery book - all in a thick plastic carry bag.

Well... what can you possibly say about Richard Scarry books that has't been said before. He is wonderful... I bought his books for my children in the seventies and now I'm buying them for my grandchildren. Every page is crowded with little incidents.. each with their own backstory... So much for children's imaginations to run away with... I cannot recommend these books highly enough.

These were my sons' favourite books when they were growing up. I bought them for my two year old grandson and he just loves them - insists on having them read before he goes to bed! Such a lot going on on each page - plenty to talk about and helps with language skills. They are also quite amusing for an adult too!

Great price for a great collection of books. Love the older values presented in these books. My husband and I both really appreciate how these books explain so many everyday things, from where the water in your tub comes from to what it's like to take a train trip. My children (4 and 2) still read them everyday, and they've had them for 8 months.

I was looking forward to getting these,as I had them as a child. Maybe children's books are much brighter now ,these books looked dated. My toddler not enjoying them.

What delightful books - and what an amazing price for them! Please please can we have "Busy Busy World" again - I so want to read stories about Fatima the detective etc etc to a younger generation!

What can you say about value like this? Fantastic books, now being read to the grandchildren by my own children who loved them. I ordered late on Friday night and they arrived on Monday morning so, all in all, I am way more than pleased.

Just as the name says - 10 books by Richard Scarry for excellent price, packed in transparent plastic bag with handles and tag, which is very handy if you give them as gift :) we are more than happy with this purchase, and Richard Scarry books are one of our kids favorites, same as they were our favorites when we were kids. Highly recommended!!
