Save time and money
Marie French door refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom started acting up. The refrigerator was not cooling, but the freezer was working perfectly. The reason why is because the The cooling fan has stopped working. I had done this before about four years ago. I bought the fan for my GE profile model number from Amazon. It arrived in one day. My bottom freezer unit was disassembled, I put the new fan in plug and play type. Put everything back together. And it worked quietly and perfectly just as it was new. I think I saved about $400 by doing this myself. I highly recommend to do it.

Works
Easy install, first time refrigerator repair man here. After a YouTube video I was able to safely swap motor. It does not come with the fan blade. Seems to be decent quality. It saved my fridge from the dump!

Issues with stability at low RPMs. Not controllable.
I tried two of these motors. It is not a direct replacement for my GE fridge. Plug, casing, wiring are all correct and so is the part number, but this motor doesn't rotate correctly at lower speeds. It reports back the speed to the control board. It looks like it doesn't do it correctly. When the fridge requests low RPMs it starts and immediately stops. This cycle keeps repeating. It ends up not maintaining the temperature correctly and causes freezer burn. I replaced it with a different brand and the problem went away. It wasn't an issue with my fridge or my installation but with the circuitry embedded in this motor. It works fine only at higher RPMs but that's not what's needed all the time.

GSH25JSTA (GE Fridge/Freezer) 30 minutes total replace time. ~$20. Works fine. Longevity unknown.
Good YT videos, got me home. I have read some say that theirs did not last. OK. OEM is $80. This was $20. Replacement is possible by anyone with a nut driver, or ratchet set. Worked great for me.
