SATECH Sticky/Tacky/Adhesive Mat 24" x 36" Blue (Case of 4 Mats,30 Sheets Each) for Cleanroom Laboratory Hospital Construction Pets

I have an unfinished basement and at the top of the steps a wall to wall dark burgundy carpet in my home. My handyman asked me to purchase these mats so that when someone is walking up from the basement to the first floor the cement dust or construction dust would stick to the mat and not leave footprints on my carpeting at the top of the steps. There are instructions about how to anchor the mat to the floor but I couldn't figure that out. Pictured is the mat after being used. Each pad has 30 sheets and once a sheet gets too dirty the top sheet can be removed to allow a new sticky surface to be used. The set has 4 mats of 30 sheets each. The mats have to be stored FLAT so they maintain their proper shape. Certainly worked for MY purposes. I'm sure it would be good for people who have pets too.

Saving my sanity while work goes on in my house. Before I bought these and put them at the entrances and exits of work areas, I had plaster dust everywhere. Even if the painters took off their shoes,they tracked the dust on their socks. Keeps plaster dust, grout and sparkle particles, sawdust, and just construction dust out of the rest of the house. Saves so much cleaning time and keeps everyone happier because I’m not nagging and they aren’t being nagged.Every painter should bring one to the houses he/she works in for the common good.

These are great to clean shoes as you walk over them. Unfortunately, I never realized they would also catch insects and leaves that blow into the garage in our very rural location. Maybe it’s a plus to know that the bugs are being caught but I just don’t like looking at them until it’s time to change the sticky sheet. I’m giving the 5 Star review because my criticism has nothing to do with the product and all about this user’s circumstances.

I bought these to use at the entrance to my house from my garage. They are really tacky and they do a great job of removing dirt and sand from your shoes. I was surprised to see how much they cleaned off even after wiping on a regular door mat first.These are a more expensive solution than just a door mat. But for me, it’s worth using this product because it really solves the problem of tracking random grains of sand and dirt into the house. This is a much more complete approach to keeping the floor clean. If that matters to you, then This is definitely worth the cost.

The product is TOO tacky. Shoes stick to it and then you take the matt with you and trip. We thought if we waited a day the taky quality would calm down. It did NOT. Also even though it says that you get thirty sheets per matt, it is in fact 29, top sheet is a cover sheet. This is a moot point because i am returning it.

the size and adhesion is great and clearly to see how much dust you have collected (otherwise could have been brought inside the house), especially during pandemic times. see photo attached. happy with the purchase.

I bought these to keep the dust down when I was doing some work in my house. They're basically a giant sticky pad. You step on it, and keeps the dirt on the pad and not on your floors.

What a great product! I would see them in hospital O.R.s for years and knew that they did the job of decreasing dirt and impurities in your environment. They have certainly done their job in helping to keep my floors clean throughout my home. I set them at the entry to my wife's art studio and the entry from the garage. Wow! Love this product!

The mats are ultra sticky! Works great for taking off contaminants before entering a laboratory type environment. Also, do not sit on the sticky mat without pants or underwear. You will leave a fuzzy rats nest of hair and skin behind. Trust me! Great product!
