Nice but pricey for what they are
The finish on these ID cars is similar to a Hot Wheels Treasure hunt but without rubber "real rider" tires for obvious reasons - it needs to work with Hot Wheels track sets so needs free rolling plastic wheels. The paint finish on the batmobile is quite nice - a "spectraflame" type finish.I bought mine reduced at a local toy store and while I like it and was happy to find it because I collect approx 1/64 and "three inch" batmobiles as part of my bigger diecast collection. I don't think I could justify the £6.99 asked for one. It's not a fully "premium" car and of course I realize as an adult collector, I'm not the main target market, but as far as I can see, this is nothing more than a regular hot wheels with an RFID chip and these are literally, cheap as chips. It depends whether kids get real play value out of the sets and app vs. the old school thrill of just racing them down the orange track. Don't see the point of the extra packaging either, just seems to be so they can sell them in Apple stores. If these were half the price and just in regular blister cards, they'd probably make more sense.
