Safety 1st Screen Door Saver, White

It's good for the price. flexible and decently sturdy. The install is a bit of on issue because certain holes didn't line up on the door, so I drilled my own and it worked fine.

This gate was perfect. I needed a solution to keep my cat safe since the window screen of our 2nd floor sliding window was not sturdy.I velcroed it in place with about 8 strips of white Velcro. (The roll kind so you can cut it to the right size.)A little awkward to put it in place before opening the window each evening, but it's worked great. And no damages to the apartment.

Bought two of these. Thought I would be able to put one on the inside of my screen door and one on the outside to protect the screen from my dog at both angles. However, it doesn't fit from the inside - it's too thick, but I am able to wedge it in between the screen and glass door, and it serves its purpose that way. I was able to install the other one on the outside and it installed easily and fit decent. They are a little flimsy for $30, and they also send two different size screws. One set of screws are way too short and don't even make it out of the other side of the gate and the other set are too long they came all way through my screen door. All-in-all I am happy with the purchase and the fact that my screen won't get any more holes and allow the bugs in.

This product can be attached with screws, but I found that if you bend it slightly it slides right in to the screened area of most windows and creates a safety barrier. I can still open my window and get fresh air and knowing that my cat won’t fall two stories down to the ground, and didn’t have to drill a hole. The product is very sturdy and can be used on her screen door as well but I just use them on windows

I bought the Screen Door Saver to keep out two dogs out of certain rooms. Installation was easy with complete and easy to understand instructions. One tip - be sure the installation results in a straight screen up and down otherwise it will be tight at the top and loose at the bottom or vice versa. Instructions remind you of this. Works well and easy to use.Now the customer service part - my dogs decided to try to try to push through the door screen not once but twice and broke one of the brackets each time. The spare brackets supplied took care of the first time but after the second time I needed a replacement bracket. I emailed the customer service email address listed in the instructions requesting to purchase a replacement bracket, not really expecting a reply. Same day reply was received saying they would send a complete set of installation brackets - at no charge! Postal service miss-scanned the package so they sent another set. Now I have both packages (3 sets). If anybody needs any spare parts let me know. Customer service deserves 10 stars!!!!!!!!!!

Not perfect, but it does the job. We had to remove half of the screw holes because our door would not close unless the screen saver was rectangular. I wish there was more space between the plastic and the aluminum screen itself. Our determined cat did get his claws through the plastic grating. Solved the problem by sliding a piece of aluminum foil between the actual screen and the plastic piece. He hates the crinkly noise and leaves it alone. This was a third the cost of other screen protectors and it works.

It is just the right pattern and made of the right material. The cat cant cut the screening material and get out. Purr…fect.
