2XU Women's Long Distance Triathlon Short

I've purchased and returned about 5 pairs of tri shorts this year for whatever reason-mostly because I have super slender thighs and those others I purchased did not provide compression. These fit well, a tad short in the waist but do-able. The pad provides just enough cushion for Olympic distance races and dries quickly. Bottom line-a good short for the shorter rides and races.

On the positive side: pockets are large enough to hold keys & on the go nutrition and the padding is OK for longer rides. However - these seem to run larger than usual for 2xu, so there's minimal compression/thigh support and every time I slide back in the saddle the seat grape the extra material and pulls the shorts down a bit. So, I stick to these for rides on the trainer rather than on the road. rest for those days when you're not feeling your slimmest

coloring of material bleeds- totally stained my white bike seat, even with being pre-washed

These shorts look great, but run large- in triathlon you need tight fitting shorts (yes, even if you think they squish your belly fat ladies!) These seemed a little bit on dry land and just became larger after a swim. The padding is about the same as in most tri shorts. You might be able to get away with them if you are racing a sprint, but anything longer I would be afraid these shorts would fall down.
