XLC Unisex_Adult Cargo Box BA-B02, Black, 40 x 25 x 25 cm

Got this last year and have been using it for enought time that I really like this. Mounted on my rear bike rack, it is secure and protects my gear and papers from the weather or blowing around. The lock is good while doing erands and carrying my cameras around. It also has attracted some attention while riding as it is the only one around here. The local bike stores have never heard of them, what a shame. I definately recomend this item!

I commute on the train everyday to work and I love having a lockable trunk on my bike. It's light weight. Wish the inside had padding to keep the noise down when carrying items. The locking mechanism isn't the best but works for the cost. I don't trust it to keep anything worthy inside while unattended.

We bought two of these for our new bikes and the first time one of the bikes fell over in the wind, the latching side of the mechanism on the trunk box broke off making it unlockable! It seems to me that the beefy-ist part of the box should be the LOCK! Needless to say, it will take quiet a bit of modifying / cost to make it useable again. If we knew then what we know now... we would not order these! They are not very durable for the price we paid!

I ferretti per il bloccaggio sono troppo corti, per cui non si sono riusciti ad adattare al mio porta bauletto, che è di dimensioni standard.

Overall an excellent solution. Sort of replaces boot on car allowing essential basics to live with the bike. Biggest problem I find with bikes revolves with the time spent moving from deciding to leave to actually being on the move, combined with heading off to do whatever you were going out to do feeling like a Porter at a station. If there was one problem, the screws supplied were not long enough to reach through the rack. Could do with reflective back end.
