MagpulQD Cup - Type 1

Q: Which screw do you use with the type 1 and type 2 mount?

Not trying to be a smart Alec, the one that fits. Use the one that fits without extending into the cup interfering with the swivel installation.

Q: Can this be used by itself if put on left side of SGA stock or does it require type 2 as well?

No. I called Magpul and confirmed that just the Type 1 mount can be used alone without the Type 2 mount on the other side. I also confirmed this by going to Magpul's website, looking up the Type 1 sling mount, and clicking on the YouTube video titled Magpul Slings - Part III : Sling Attatchments. In the video, it shows that the Type 1 mount comes on some stocks alone without the Type 2 on the other side.

Q: Does this include 1 or 2 cups?

It does not include both cups my homie. There is a type 1 and a type two. type 2 is the second cup 'threaded" no screws like the type 1
