My review is to be helpful to anyone interested in the material. Straight off, I will say I don't know what it is. I do not think it's a natural fiber given the way it looks under magnification. I'm no expert, so I would love it if the company listed the material for clarity. I was hoping to cut or engrave this with a laser, but since it's likely a polymer and I don't know which, I will not.That said, these are really pretty and nicely packaged. I believe they would be fine as is for the purpose of coastering. I will probably just use them for that. 5 stars for the product. 4 stars for the completeness of the listing information.

I really like these! They are great to use and look so nice. Love that cups or glasses do not stick to them as they do to other coasters. They seem to be well made. All I use now!

These coasters look sharp. Excellent for a professional setting as well as in a home. I'm impressed on how they absorb the water/ condensation from glasses of ice water. One hot day we were using these coasters for ice tea and lemon aid from early in the morning until dinner. These coasters absorbed all the water and never soaked thru. Amazing!

These are absorbent but they tend to get stuck to the bottom of the glass which is annoying.

There's not much to state here. I bought these coasters hoping they would be a good alternative to ceramic coasters that adhere to the bottoms of my glasses due to condensation. They seem to be holding up and working well. I would buy these again.

In my own opinion, these are barely dollar-store / .99 cent store quality. They don't feel like felt at all. Very cheap feeling for the price. More like an EVA center with 2 very thin recycled low-density polyethylene layers on top and bottom. They don't feel nice at all. Additionally, each tile varies from large marble appearance to fine granite-like appearance. Not consistent. Super cheap quality.

I love these felt coasters. I love the thickness, I love how they absorb, but most of all they do not put scratch marks on my furniture. The price is great. You won’t or should I say you can’t go wrong with these felt coasters. Pat

I was looking for a felt coaster for my wood tables. These are great. They are thick, they absorb condensation from a glass but also don't stick to the tables like a plastic one . I love the really dark grey color and I like that they are square. These are an excellent product.
