Great for picture
Bought this and used it in the hospital to announce the arrival of baby. I read reviews about pens/markers not working well with it so instead I edited the picture and added text instead of writing on it.

Cute but very small
This item was a little smaller than I expected it to be but it will work. I did paint it and picked up a fine point Sharpie to avoid bleeding.

If you want to color in, BUY SOME GESSO!
So excited when I received this in the mail, it’s so cute! But I got oil based pens, like suggested, and it still bleed unfortunately (see first photo) :( BUT then I applied some gesso, which is used to prep surfaces like wood, and tried again and came out so beautiful with no bleeding! The gesso even gave the sign a cute white background!
