This figure is certainly the best representation of Sky Lynx we have ever gotten, not that we have been graced with too many Sky Lynx figures. The figure is fairly large, but the ratchets more than support it. It has a good heft and the plastic quality is great. The transformations are only as complex as they need to be, and make for a fun and stunning figure. This figure is absolutely worth the price in my opinion. I only have a few small problems with the figure. First off the connection between the Shuttle and transporter can be a bit inconvienient. It can be a little troublesome to do. BUT once it is connected it holds on tight, so I can't fault it too much there. Secondly, the wings can be a little floppy if you mess with it, but will hold their position if you do not. Lastly, the connections on the side of the transporter responsible for the base mood are a little bit loose, but do hold. He is overall magnificent bot. All you have to do is be mindful about what stress you put on the parts as you mess with it, but that goes with any figure. If you are on the fence about buying it, just ask "What would Sky Lynx do?" and you will not go far wrong.

I remember getting the original Sky Lynx when I was in 4th grade. He was one of my favorite Transformers, but sadly a friend of mine broke the end of his tail off. Since then, the character saw no updated toy for a looong time. The Combiner Wars Sky Lynx was a nice figure but fell short of ideal in the small size and inability to split into both dino-bird and lynx. Then this bad boy comes along and knocks it out of the park. As commander class, he is big and he has all the transformation possibilities of the original (and even one extra besides). He looks great and is solidly built. If I had to name one complaint, it would be a very small one and that is his lynx feet lack the clawed-type look of the original, so the feet look a bit off to me. Like I said, it's a nit-picky kind of complaint that in no way diminishes my satisfaction with this figure. Definitely worth the money and recommended.

Skylinx... wow, amazing, incredible, beyond impressed. This is the Skylinx we all knew and grew up with. Big in size, very well articulated, all the joints are firm and tight, the colors and deatil are all clean, and even has a lite glow from the black lights. I haven’t tried Space Station mode, but it is hard to decide which mode to display him in. The Linx unit is great on its own, then you have the big intimidating bird with some strong chicken legs. Sounds funny but i love them both. Highly recommend adding Skylinx to your shelf and your heart.

Bought this toy in 2024, but still holds up great against newer toys. Wings are a bit loose, but overall a very sturdy figure. Love it!

Was a gift for my husband... Two weeks have passed and he hasn't stopped playing with it every day. He loves it, seems to have good quality and is a very good size.

Looks fantastic! Spot-on G1 style, nice weight and durable plastic. Three issues, as noted before: 1) The tab that connects the bird and lynx appears to be backwards, preventing the two from locking securely. This is less of an issue for collectors interested in a dynamic pose, but a critical flaw for anyone attempting to actually play with the toy, as it will disconnect very easily. 2) The wings are too heavy for the joint connecting them to the body. They pop off very easily, and are incapable of holding the wings in a dynamic pose, and are barely sufficient to keep them in place even in shuttle mode. This area desperately needed to be sealed with a steel pin and ratcheting joint. 3) The tail is too heavy for its joint. Any jostling causes it to fall. All easy fixes, just disappointing to find such obvious design flaws at this price point.
