100 Pearl Oyster Mushroom Spawn Plugs to Grow Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms at Home or commercially.

So, naturally being who I am. I did half my research because I was so excited to grow mushrooms. I failed to prepared and have fresh logs available for these dowels. Being who I am. I decided to research other options before having to return these. I used my dowels and colonized both bird seed and brown rice in a still air box… Max sanitation practices were used on myself and the still air box long before use lol. The mycelium is a CHAMP in this variety. It grows rapidly in optimal growing conditions. I then inoculated my fruiting blocks. Which are just natural wood pellets with proper hydration levels. They were of course pressure cooked even tho I’m really not sure it was necessary. Thus, we are on the final stage. My block is fully inoculated and fruiting. I can’t speak to the taste but it has been an amazing process. I do plan to still colonize a few trees in the future but it’s nice to know these didn’t go to waste. I have also been able to grain to grain this variety. So, enjoy. Thank you sellers for this AMAZING variety. These are my first mushrooms and I have enjoyed every step along the way!

Followed instructions to no avail. Did not grow.

I decided to go the outdoor grow route using an oak log, so I won't see any mushrooms for some months. However, I can say that the plugs were uniformly carved and beautifully caked with spawn. I have no doubt they will grow. The plugs were also sized perfectly to be hammered snugly into a 5/16 drill hole. Will likely update to 5 stars when I see the fruit of this labor.

I am using the oyster spawn on some recently down tree logs! I am very happy with the product I received which was highly colonized!

Getting a bunch of oyster mushrooms growing under my tree in the backyard. Can't wait to grow more new kinds of mushrooms.

They never came up. I planted them like I was supposed to and nothing. Very disappointing. I don’t know if I got a bum batch or what.
