Not sure what the complaints about loose screws are about. It's purely user error. With every product in the world they always instruct to double check fittings because things can loosen during shipping. This is especially important with adjustable fittings. They don't screw it tight from factory because the assumption is you will adjust it to preference before install. This is common knowledge but may not be if you don't build things. The complaints about wires and screws being short is not the products fault but rather your home wasn't built correctly or have unconventional set up. My junction box wasn't flush with the ceiling but the screws were definitely adequate. Common sense would tell you to use the screws from the old lamp you just took down and it will definitely be long enough. Okay about the quality complaints, ummm duh it isn't the greatest. It's 30$ how can you possibly expect more. I actually believe it's a steal when comparing to other same types of lamps. Plus it goes up on the ceiling overhead why would you even be staring at it to nit pick it. On to my review, this lamp was exactly perfect for my use in common hallway space of a small building because I could adjust the angle of the bulbs. I need the adjustability because I placed motion sensing bulbs inside and need to angle to get the trigger sensors to work for when people both walk up and down the stairs. Could not achieve otherwise without all the angle adjustments. The painted gold trim is not perfect so I turned the bad side toward the wall but doesn't really matter because I never look at the lamp, it's above my head.

Fortunately this lamp looks better than the actual quality would suggest it might. My first thought was that this is pretty cheaply made, and there's not a lot of heft to it. If this is in a place where it might get bumped, it's probably best to find something else. But on our 8' hallway ceilings, it's an acceptable look, particularly when you install a couple of Edison bulbs. It goes up easy enough, but the bolts could be just a tad longer. Even though my junction box is flush with the drywall, the bolts just aren't as long as the depth of the canopy. Also, the lamp mounting bolts don't threat to the faceplate and must be held in place by a nut. What they spend on those nuts could probably be spent to buy the right bolts and save the customer/installer some time and effort. I'm a pretty big guy and can exert a lot of force, and I had to work pretty hard to expose one thread of the bulb so that the retaining decorative caps could be put on. The wiring is pretty straight forward, and though not exceptional, it is insulated from abrasion where the wires go through the canopy, which is a problem I've seen with several other lamps. The installer should be warned that the installation of the sockets on the canopy really isn't complete, even if it looks like it. Other users have also mentioned that they fail to tighten these things down at the factory, and if you install it without tightening things down, your lamps will be loose and wiggle. I saw this, but I'm also a bit OCD on checking all connections and parts before I attempt an assembly. In the end though, it's a very acceptable looking lamp, though I truly believe it should be priced in the $25/30 range for the value of the materials and construction. And anything shorter than an 8' ceiling is probably going to put this lamp a little too low in the room.

We wanted the boob light gone! This is even more beautiful once installed. It only took 20 minutes to install also! Ordering more to replace all the lights.

Easy to install (father in law ). I ordered the lights that were recommended and I think they are a little too bright for a kitchen. But it’s updates the space great. I ordered one for kitchen and one for entry hall way.

Beautiful and totally worth the money. Just a pain to install so load up with patience. I don’t understand why they can’t give an extra bit of length on the cables so the installation is easier. Such a cheap solution to a real issue. Just saying

Love this purchase. It is in my front entrance hallway and it looks great. Highly recommend this if you are looking for stylish, already assembled, easy to install. It takes 2 bulbs gives a great amount of light but not too much for the area. I use clear Edison bulbs in it.

Took just 5 minutes to install. Loving it.

Looks great. Instructions are terrible. Screws to mount the light are too short. Had to fiddle around with the box to get it to mount properly. What should have been a 10 minute install turned into an hour.
