I got the wire and thought I would get an easy setup since my laptop was Oculus Ready. I had terrible setup and was only able to get it working for a half hour before it shut down completely and has stopped working. Extremely disappointing, I was hoping to play many fun games but I guess Oculus Link was the wrong way to go. I had many chats with oculus support and they gave good tips but nothing worked.Cable doesn't work well and be ready to spend two nights on oculus support getting it ready, just for it to only work for a half hour before it shuts down completely.

This cable is literally the best cable for link. Just under the official quest cable though cause it's longer. But this cable charges my headset as I'm gaming!! Which is the main selling point for the Oculus Link Cable. Only up side for a link cable and this is that the link cable is 16 ft versus the 10ft hear. Though 10ft is plenty for me. Very satisfied!!

This USB 3.1 cable meets Oculus's requirements for a Link cable, as confirmed by the Oculus software's cable test. It also performs as expected in use, both for Oculus and Steam VR, plugged into the USB-C socket on my RTX 2070. Having read other reviews indicating that it is prone to mechanical failure, presumably from tugging, I applied a small amount of superglue (cyanoacrylate) between the metal plugs and their plastic surrounds to make them as firm as possible, but this failed to prevent the cable from developing loose connections after a few weeks of minimal use. I recommend a sturdier 16' USB-C to USB-A cable instead, as there is no apparent performance disadvantage to plugging a Link cable into your motherboard rather than your graphics card.

Worked right out of the box with Oculus Link, no dropped frames, latency, or freezing. Not only that it's a high quality feeling cable as well! Much better than the other cable selling on here.

Worked for about a week. Now it occasionally registers as a USB 2.0 cable instead of a 3.1 and doesn't work with my Oculus quest. Most of the time when plugged in, my PC won't even see it. I've tried it with my phone and other devices as well and it's very inconsistent. Feels like a quality cable, if only it worked like one. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

This cable does work with the Oculus Quest, but ONLY if you rotate it the correct way. I know, the Type-C cable is suppose to work both ways, but this one does not. If you're having issues rotate it and plug it in the other way. Otherwise it's a fine cable, at a good price.

Works perfectly for connecting our Oculus Quest to our PC, making it essentially an Oculus Rift. Playing Half-life Alyx no problem! Enough cable for gameplay without issue. Will probably get longer one when it’s available.

Simply didn’t work with my Quest as an alternative to the name brand Oculus Link cable. Wouldn’t even pass the built in Oculus Link test. Just a generic USB-C cable, not capable of the high bandwidth needed for Oculus link.

Oculus Quest that's what they claim. Don't buy this cable if you want this product to damage your oculus Quest. I bought a brand new Asus laptop TUF Gaming and waited for this cable to come by mail. I downloaded all the oculus Quest software and followed all the directions from oculus Quest website. This wire damaged my Oculus Quest. So is this company responsible? No I did not damage oculus Quest. I'm a IT professional and I know computers inside out. Just don't buy this for oculus Quest.

Doesn't work for the Oculus Quest, followed all the directions and still didn't work.My system exceeds the requirements needed and everything connected correctly.Do not recommend this cable.

It only worked a five minutes then freeze. Did couple of software update but problem still remains. Now freeze every two minutes. Save your time and money buy cable from Oculus if you are a Quest owner and want to play pc and Rift games

Length of cable should be more
