Excellent value, solid and pretty.
One of the nicest looking IEM cables I've ever bought.Pros:Good quality, heavy-ish materials contribute to this feeling of quality but the weight isn't noticeable when wearing.Good hooks around the ears, comfortable after many hours.A cable cinch is included!Cons:None that are immediate after less than a weeks ownership.

Great for the money
When my astell and kern T9ie developed an issue with the left channel I decided to see if it was the cable or earphone itself. After a snoop around I came upon this cable that has the advantage of having 16 rather than 8 strands and supporting a balanced 2.5mm connection. After swapping the stock lead for this one I confirmed that the issue was indeed the cable / connection. The sound quality obtained was very good for the money spent on the cable. Perhaps a little brighter than the stock cable, but given the cost of the stock cable that isn’t surprising.I will be using this cable as a stop gap for a while whilst I try to get the stock cable repaired. If this sounds like I don’t like the cable you could not be further from the truth. It is a great cable for the money, but my t9ie need a top end cable costing many times the price of this one to get from best of them.

Dubious about the appearance in the photographs, but I'm a convert now.
I wasn't sure if I would like the woven nature of the wire, but it's so soft and flexible I've been converted. It has very little 'memory' and it has a slightly sticky (silicone?) feel that stops it sliding around. It remains to be seen how it survives over time. The open nature of the braid shouldn't pose a snagging problem for me as it will be tucked under my shirt most of the time, but this type of construction can turn into a rats nest after some use. We shall see.I bought this to go with my Sure SE425's, which are bronze, so I chose the closest colour, which unfortunately was grey. It is a metallic grey though. It would have been nice to have a brown / bronze / copper option.A common complaint with Shure IEMs is that the cables are too long. This replacement is more the 'standard' length, enough to reach a shirt or belt mounted amp without having half a metre of wire coiled up somewhere.I can't comment on the sound quality as this was bought to go with a new headphone amp that has a balanced output, which none of of my other kit has, so I can't do an A/B comparison. General impression is very good tough.

Excellent value for good quality
This is my second cable of this type, they are really great value for money. It drapes nicely and is soft to the touch, it is so nice I have to resist the urge to fondle it. The gold colour is very pretty. I'm not a fan of mmcx connectors and don't buy IEMs that have them now as they are so often a failure point. This replaces a manufacturer's own cable, the connectors fell apart on that. The connectors on this fit more firmly and look more robust.I don't personally believe that the qualities of cables impart certain audible characteristics to the sound, so I wont comment on that. If you believe that they do then you may get a little extra out of the product.

SMELLY
This cable has a noxious smell. I have owned it for nearly a year, the stench has lessened, but it is still definitely there.I have used it with a couple of different IEMs which came with single ended cables, but which benefited from balanced connection. Although sound did improve, I believe that this cable does not sound as good as the other two balanced earphone cables I have bought. The Tripowin seems a bit tinny, but the others are more expensive (if purchased on Amazon). On the plus side, it does not tangle, and the mmcx and 2.5mm plugs have been trouble free.
