Good germination
I was far too eager and so didn't cold stratify these seeds first (which was recommended). Regardless, they germinated on my windowsill in less than a week (end of February). Very happy with these seeds.

Viable seeds
Alpine strawberries are hard to grow from seed. They take upwards of 3 weeks to germinate and many months more before they start flowering and eventually fruiting.Of the initial batch of seeds I tried to sprout about a year ago, only one plant has survived, but it is thriving.Overall, if you can find plugs, you're better off growing those, but if you enjoy the challenge or don't have that option, with some persistence you can get these to grow very well!

Fantastic!
I put the seed packet in the fridge for 3 weeks once they arrived (as googled germination tips first), then sowed roughly half the packet in seed tray and placed in a heated propagator and a week later had lots of tiny seedling...yay! Have since pricked them out, all are thriving, and I have about 130 plants.

Growing like crazy
It has taken a while to start, but then the result went far beyond my expectations. On the picture there is only a part of I grew from just 1 pack of seeds.
