I recently gotten into gardening and wanted to learn to grow plants and crops that I can use in the kitchen. I realized how difficult that can be if you are starting from seed instead of buying a pre-grown crop. This starter kit really emphasized that growing from the seed takes a lot of love and care and I have spent everyday since I ordered this looking at my plants and watching them slowly bud. It took a while but they are finally peeking above the soil on a couple of them and it's exciting. It does get a little worrying waiting for the others to peek above the soil but with constant love I am sure something will come of it. This is definitely a slow process and will take patience if you start from the seed but definitely rewarding.

This product is very good. It is easy to use and the instructions are clear. We’ve wanted to start our herb garden for a while and what better way than involving the kids. They love making things grow and I am sure they will love it when the plants are full grown.

A bit harder to grow. Had to soak some seeds before planting. I'm following the instructions but they have sprouted but not flourished.

I do not have a green thumb but these were very easy to grow! They did quickly outgrow the containers that came with the box but they are still going strong nearly 3 months later. I would recommend having new pots ready for these plants by week 4/5 after sowing. This was a great thing to start in the spring and I would recommend this set as a gift. Easy to follow instructions.

Le me start by saying that I have bought seeds from dollar tree and each every time they have harvested if is a vegetable or fruit or bloomed if is a flower. They never expired seeds.I got this kit as a gift from my daughter for Christmas who knows my passion for plants. I realized the seeds were expired a whole year.🤔🤔🤔🤔( seeds expire? Didn’t know ) I decided to still give it a try and I waited till time indicated on kit for each seed packaged. I planted and waited after 1 month Only cilantro grew 2 plants that didn’t make it past 2 weeks. Very disappointed I decided to not give up and try with a different soil other than the one kit came with. I decided to use miracle grow soil which is what I’ve used for all my other plants. Basil grew parsley and cilantro but nothing else. The stem were so fragile None survived. Very disappointed again and will definitely not waste my time or money on any other of their product.

I wasn’t crazy about this herb growing kit. It was a bit pricey for what you actually get. My herbs all grew, which was wonderful and really exciting. But the containers are just too small to get very many herbs. When I transferred them outside, I took most of them out of the little pots even though they said they could be planted directly into the soil in the pots. The plants that I took out of the pot and transferred directly into the soil did MUCH better than those that I left in the pots that came with the kit and planted in the soil. It was disappointing because I was really hoping to have a good little herb garden. I could’ve just bought the seeds for way less and been just as successful. Next time, I will just buy the seeds and plant them in my own pots and save the money.

So far I am very happy with my indoor herb garden. I have never used a soil disc before but once you do you may never want to buy a bag of soil again! I just planted the seeds about two weeks ago but everything is starting to grow. Directions are easy to follow!

Thought I'd give growing herbs a try. I'm not a green thumb. Bought the kit, read the instructions (please do! Some seeds need to soak before planting! I had no idea! ). Every one has sprouted, some better than others, but I suspect it's me not knowing how much to water, etc. I'm learning. Maybe I need to read the book again. Lol.
