Champion Sports920BK Big Digital Display Stopwatch Black

My son plays football and has been working on his speed, especially in the 40 yard dash. I chose to purchase this product after reading a sample of both positive and negative reviews. I am puzzled by some of the criticisms. The fact that the stopwatch arrives with the clock running is inconsequential and actually routine with timepieces of all kinds. The criticism that the enclosed instruction sheet is unclear is also confusing to me. I played with the buttons for a few minutes and was able to easily identify and use all of the functions of the watch without even referring to the instructions. Then to confirm I had indeed identified all of the features available, I did read the instructions. They seemed very clear and thorough. The print was a little small, but that is the only negative I could muster. I confirmed the watch is accurate and it seems relatively durable. The $13.29 price is very reasonable. Now if I can get the watch to just reflect a faster 40 time for my son...

Does what you would expect a stopwatch to do. Champion is a company that tends to put out good products, and this does not disappoint.Can't really tell from the picture, however it has some sparkle to it (the sparkles are actually embedded into the plastic)--which I like :) but some might not.My one complaint is that because of what I use it for (timing reading for students in elementary school), I wish I could turn off the beeping sound when starting and stopping the timer. Other than that it is good.**edit** 7/14/14 after reading some other reviews, I see that many people complain about the instructions being poorly worded. In all honesty I never even looked at the instructions--all I use it for is simple timing--start/stop/reset. However, still works great for what I need it for over a year later.

This will do the job I need it to do. Am going to use it for Hazmat decon for the persons going into level A suits

Loved this simple yet functional stop watch! It's a solid, bigI coach jr high school volleyball, and it is worth the buy. It is priced reasonably and does a great job timing drills and such. The price is reasonable-would purchase again if something happens to this one!

It was difficult to use, I never did figure out how to make it work right.
