Be Careful
I was looking forward to adding this my shelf decoration however I received it crack which was disappointing. Quality seem fair but I wasn't happy. Item was returned.

terrible. not worth your money.
This thing is a complete hunk of junk.Inside, there are metal grooves placed where the hatch and the locking mechanisms meet.This is an issue because It makes putting your valuables locked away much harder. Doesn’t fit flush, and the key and lock are extremely flimsy. I could barely lock the damn thing without breaking one of the spare keys.What a waste of money.

Needs better padding in shipping box
The book safe itself was exactly what I was expecting; however, the packing was not sufficient to prevent damage to the corners of the book's "hardcover".I have purchased a similar item before and was very happy with it, which is why I purchased another.
