It's a good camping solar panel, and nice enough to go in a car
What's in the box? A solar panel! A manual. A thank you card. A very small carabiner. There's instructions printed on the front in silver but it's a solar panel - you know how it works. Sun = happy face! You don't need to read the manual or the thank you card, things are pretty straightforward. It's a solar panel. You open it up, you point it at the sun, and it charges things! What's not in the box is a USB cable, which would have been nice. There are three ports on the side and they're spaced nicely enough apart to let several people plug anything in. The ports fit USB Type A cables, so you might need to buy an adapter. Also missing is something to cover up the plugs when the panel is being stored to keep the water and lint and dust out, but it's fine if you're stowing it in a laptop bag for quick charges and not going camping with it.The case is the most interesting part, it's got a nice texture and feel and it's grey. It actually feels like a case for a high end nook or cellphone. Similarly, both the kickstand for the panel and the case itself are magnetically closed, so it has that feel too. It'll stay shut when you fold it up, which is nice.So what does it charge? I have two cellphones, and my kids all have kindles. Whats nice is that when something says it's charging, it's actually getting enough power. When it's not getting enough power, it stops charging. If you have used cheaper solar panels you'll know that sometimes merely plugging something in says it's charging when it's not - this panel will actually do what it says it's doing. If the device says it's charging, it's charging. It handled the phones and tablets beautifully. For the heck of it I put my new apple macbook pro laptop on there but the laptop wouldn't charge. This device also is not a powerbank - either it's working off the sun or it's not. Plan to buy a powerbank if this is important to you.I waited until I was on my back porch, so the sun was coming through my apple trees and through the screens before I tested it because I wanted to get a good test out of it. It actually worked, which was awesome, because the sun isn't the best source of power unless you've got clear skies. This panel charged phones even on the screened in porch, under the tree. Great! The other thing to notice is that this is not a fast charger - phones charge at the normal charger rate. But yeah, I am really happy with this - my kids will be happy having some sort of power while out camping or hiking, this was a good deal.

Better than I expected
I have to say, I'm surprisingly impressed by this solar panel. The quality is much higher than I expected. If folds up nicely and stays secure via the built-in magnets. The same goes for storage of the stand. I tested it with a few devices and a USB power meter and got a solid 16 watts out of the panel when pointed at the sun. That's pretty much what I expected given it's winter. Even that is plenty to charge a phone and in the summer it should put out enough to charge two devices simultaneously. The panel is fairly heavy so don't know if you'd actually want to backpack with it but for my application car camping and recharging devices away from the vehicle it works great. I do wish it had two stands for better stability but that's really a minor nitpick.

Questioning if I recieved a defective product.
3 stars for now...5 later if incorrect.I have a question as to the outlets. My panels gathered sun light, enough to turn green...yet the outlets generated no charging for my android.Do I have to return it, or do have an answer to minor dilemma of a product not yet yielding desired, or any effect at all.I intend to go solar, I am a potential customer In the future. No offense to you, I'm just making certain that my product was both new (as stated) and is functioning properlyHopefully, to avoid the headache of return. I looking to see if you have any acceptable advice.Thank you.

Good design, very portable
Pros:- Compact and portable design- Can charge 3 usb slots- The sun lights up when the sun is good- Can adjust the angle of the solar panels to get the most out of the sun- High quality materials- I love the leather like texture- 28watts!- Can take it when I go hiking, nice clip on to bag optionCons:- The usb slot is a little tighter than usual, but it might be designed that way so that usb cord won’t fall off. Overall, still excellent product!

portable, charges quickly
I'm often in Puerto Rico and there are sometimes power interruptions (like during the Earthquakes in Jan 2020), so I wanted a backup to keep cellphones charged. After some research I picked this solar panel and I love it. nice material, looks great, fits in my back-pack. Powerful and charges quickly (my phone charges in a couple of hours in the full sun here). Very happy with it.

Battery pack > solar charger for long outdoor trips
I got this charger for a camping trip where there were no outlets. I also didn’t want to risk a battery exploding because of condensation, so this was a good option. I had my flashlight charger and phone charger, both worked with this, but I charged them one at time so they charged faster, or at least I thought they did. It stores flat and is really portable. Looking forward to using this again on my next trip!

Well made and easy to carry!!
Really well made!! I was surprised at the quality and packaging. t's not to big when opened up and folds up to the size of a large tablet when closed. And the magnetic closure is a nice touch. Really awesome tmit has 3 5v outputs. It's gonna be pretty cool to use at the beach!!

Works as expected
The construction is slightly different than what I expected, but it seems OK. I thought it would be rubberized plastic, but it's like a hard imitation leather.Only used once on a bright sunny day so far. Charged two Android phones in about an hour.
