We added a belt and it was fine. I would say it does run big though
I added that this fit somewhat large. My son normally wears a youth large without a belt in baseball pants. This is a brand we haven’t had yet though. We added a belt and it was fine. I would say it does run big though. Quality of the pants are great though.

The waist of the 10-12 was perfect for my son
The fit in the picture is normal pant length. They are short pants that show about 6 inches to a foot of sock. They even have the extra layer of material at the knees. Unfortunately, I need normal length pants, so they aren't going to work for games, but for practice they were fine. The waist of the 10-12 was perfect for my son, just wish they were pants.

Greatest baseball pants
The quality of the pants are amazing. The material is strong and they survived a baseball season with a 9 year old!! I will definitely order another few pairs for my son next season. My son feels like a real Mets player when he wears these pants.The seller shipped the order much quicker than I expected. Two thumbs up for the seller.

For Short Fat Kids
My 10-year-old son is average in all ways -- height, inseam, waist, weight, etc. These pants (YL) were big in the waist and short in length. So, he wears them old-school with exposed socks. These pants would work better for a kid who was shorter than average and heavier than average ... short, fat kids would fit these perfectly.

Son cortos, no largos
Muy buena calidad, llegó en tiempo, me gusto el material, es muy cómodo y te permite una gran movilidad, únicamente creo que debieron de haber dicho que son cortos (abajo de la rodilla) y no largos como se ve en la foto, aunque la verdad no me molestó. Fuera de eso excelente
