Best on the market, been buying for years!
I’ve been buying varies fats from Fatworks direct from their site for years now. Theis products are always superior. This one was a gift for my Mom who is ditching all those nasty seed oils. Make sure that even on Amazon you buy directly from the manufacturer or Amazon to ensure you are getting a pure product. Many people will buy via a third party and complain something is wrong with the product when in fact it could be the way it was stored or altered best by dates (though also keep in mind that fats should last almost indefinitely with proper storage).

Better packaging
Seller improved their packaging since previous reviews, so it came to me in one piece. Heard the pop when I opened it, so I know I was first to open it. Has a use or freeze by March 2026 which is 8 months from now. Smells beefy as I would expect tallow to smell. Haven’t cooked with it yet but all seems good.

Good Quality
Happy with my purchase.Great for keeping foods from sticking to the cast iron pan requiring only a water-wash after use (don't use detergent on cast iron!). I use it to fry and then do a light coat after the water-wash out.Twice purchased - will purchase again.And I also use it for popping corn.

Very pleased with the texture and flavor.
This takes me back to my childhood. I remember when my grandmother cooking with either lard or tallow. I've made a few dishes so far, fried taters and fried brussel sprouts and oooooh were they good. Get away from those seed oils, not good for you. The health benefit of beef tallow is so much better. The quality, smell and taste of this tallow is great.

Use for cooking or on your skin
Can be used for cooking or on skin as body oil… tons of benefits for putting beef tallow on skin (just in case you don’t already know!). It’s a little smelly for the skin, but whatever… also a little gritty- it doesn’t rub in super easily. Really good product tho!

Poor Labeling
The print of the jar comes off easily. I think it was expired upon arrival. Can barely make out date and what is above it is completely illegible. In the photo it looks like it says 11/Mar/2025. After barely handling the ink rubbed off completely. I was going to use this to do a final layer of seasoning on my new Blackstone and now I am disappointed. After looking at reviews I’m afraid to open it because it may be rancid at this point.
