Nice and sturdy

Thanks to all reviewers you helped make my decision on this purchase. However, my imput is that you should pay careful attention to your door handles fittings. Our handle has a wider lip and a notch, a high security grade 2 set up, so this guard dog was barely able to get onthere. Our door has been seriously under assault lately by various tools and police offers directed us to one of these bars. But, I do agree with one reviewer about is does slip some at the base. Hope it holds long enough!FYI to persons thinking about security products, any of them, is they don't keep bad guys out forever; they are delay tactics at best! So think of adding layers of security. I will be adding additional types plus, If apt manager allows it, bedroom door locks also to help buy time for cops to save our bacon from extinction! Go ahead take this step to help protect yourself and layer! Product feels sturdy and easy to use.

This is the first bar I personally have gotten for myself, and after moving into my place and being blind I found that the sliding door was stressing me out and making it hard for me to sleep at night. I picked this because of the positive reviews and after getting it I was able to set it up with in minutes and feel so much less stress, however, I would have liked for there to be a twin to the flat end vs just removing the hook. like another reviewer said the hook part for under the door is not mettle.personally I don't use it for that, so I can't say if it is strong or not, but I do like it is easy to use, and works for my needs. I give it 5 stars because I feel better now that I have it, and for the price I feel its s worth the money.I could see getting another one but maybe for use inside or for a door with a handle and not a sliding door, but that is in the future. you know what is going to be best for your needs, just know that this is what it looks like, sounds like and is at a fair price.
